I was hoping for one or two DLC but I suppose I'll live with it. Can't wait to here more about DA3
Bioware abandons DA2 to focus on "next thing" in DA series.

I'm going to miss Hawke and wish we'd see the finale but I can't say I'm completely saddened, DA2 would've benefited far more had they stopped working on Awakening and put that time / money into DA2 for example.

Im also one of the few who loves both DAO and DA2.. Awakening and Witch Hunt gave me a somewhat closure for my warden, and thus I think its a shame that we wont get to see more Hawke..

That, and we don't
get to finish Hawke's story, which leaves me very unhappy. I want to
conclude Hawke's story! He was so much more compelling then the
Warden.
I quite agree. I suppose I do understand the sentiments of those who got to play DAO before DA2. I went the other way round and so after having played DA2 it took a lot of tries to somehow adapt myself to DAO. I had to download a whole lot of mods (so much more options than DA2) in order to be able to like it. Dont get me wrong I like the story very much indeed and I especially liked how you do not have to jump through hoops to talk to your companions. But speaking only for myself, I found a different bond, a different feel with my character in DA2 through those video cuts where you can actually see your character act. It is almost the same feel as those old- on paper- rp- games where you actually were the hero of your own and did all the acting. I simply loved that feeling in DA2. So I guess I am disappointed that I wont be seeing more of my hawkes or DA2. Still looking forward to DA3 though and hope it will be every bit as good as both Origins and DA2. Both games had some really good aspects and here is to hoping that DA3 will bind those together

Well, DA2 only set the stage for how Hawke became the most important person in Thedas. We never really saw what he did that made him so important... Im guessing "Exalted March" would've solved that, and any future DLC aswell. Alas, now we will have to hear it second hand, and through codex entries.
Kind of like how Witch Hunt solved the Morrigan dilemma? Or, woud EA/Bioware just tease you with the expansion solving Hawke's storyline, only to milk more money from you, then destroy everything in a 3 colour choice Deus Ex Machina... !?
