I have two mages in my group, but there is such a small amount of mana to buy I am having trouble with keeping my mages casting spells.Any comments?

You need to craft potions in the long run. The herbalism skill lets you do that

Several merchants - including the one in your camp - have infinite flasks. Anything that says 99 is infinite.
You can buy infinite lyrium dust in the Circle Tower. Problem solved. You can probably get by fine with lesser and normal potions, though there are bigger ones too.

There are also mana-regenerating robes and items. Keep out an eye for them.

And if you don't want to go the potion option (you should) you need to buff willpower.

You need to use the herbal craft skill to create the potions you need, health poultices as well. Then buy the required ingredients in bulk when you can.

I had the same problem later in the game and have worked mainly on Willpower and took Bloodmagic. Make sure you also have Life Tap and the second one after life tap that draws healing from corpses, Death Magic(Entropy). Doing that has allowed me to cast for a much longer time.

If you don't want to be a Bloodmage then try Mana Tap to help boost you a little and if you are lucky, try to get some mana regen items. Oh there is also a spell that does something similar to the health drain from corpses but for mana, I can't remember what it's called though. I'll look into it. Death Syphon (Spirit).
