I don't know how to help this guy. I finish the major quest for the dalish and he says he's convinced he can resolve it himself now but that doesn't close the quest out.

I want to resolve my quests so i was wondering I could help this lad.

And this whole Bowl on, sword up and sword down thing in the circle tower and the summoning ritual, how do I do that?

thanks again! Play hard!

The quest is broken. Now that you've resolved the major quest you can't complete it anymore but the quest doesn't "disappar".

I'm not sure they even know of this and even if they did, I think that's fairly low priority : it's not game-breaking.

*spoiler re: mages tower puzzles*

The summoning lessons: Use the TAB key to locate the items in the 1/2 book. Refer to your Codex in your journal. Always start by right-clicking on the summoning font. Everything you need is in that room. (However, something you do may come back to haunt you later. No biggie unless it weighs a lot on your conscience.)

The bowl, sword business: Again with the tab to spot the statues. Make sure you collect ALL scraps of paper for this. the final bit will reveal the sequence. The three statues are together in one room on one side. You can't miss which one's which. The last place to activate is in the middle of that floor. Then, something happens on the bottom floor. You activate that by trying to door to the basement down there. (Save first.)

Tab key is your friend. :)

There are at least two more places where this happens. It involves a back-and-forth double quest in East and West Brecilian Forest if you say you'll help both of them and help only one of them and again if you expose the changeling in Denerim before heading out to the place he sends you. The quest markers will remain even though the quest no longer needs them.

Not game-breaking, but my neurotic brain wanted to get rid of all quest markers.
