I mean, the three words make sense:
Too
Much
(with you so far)
Liara.
See now it doesn't make any sense.

Weekes actually sent a book he was given my a fan to the ME2 character writers in Edmonton. They then took a group photo with the book.
They know and care.
Weekes has gone to extraordinary lengths to tell us that he loved the book.
Weekes, Jessica Merizan, Jarret Lee, and Alan *fershersmurgle* are the faces of humanity in this corporate boondoggle. They're the only ones giving anybody any hope at this point.
If everything works out with the EC, we need to do something for them. Christmas cards, gift certificates, something.

About the only reason I liked Liara going into ME3 is LotSB. Didn't like her at all in ME1 and all of ME2. I found her decision to attempt to reanimate me creepy not endearing.
But because of LotSB, we were at least friends. I didn't really mind that she came in to check on me all those times (god knows Garrus or Ashley wouldn't do it), but I was bothered by just how many times she did it.
I really wish I'd had more moments with Tali (my primary LI) once she was on board. I do with I'd had more time to get to know Vega and even a little more time with Ashley (my "cheat on her with an alien" LI). So although I wasn't terribly bothered by her plot and scenario relevance, I'm willing to go along with the "wish there was more of everybody else" train of thought.

These hate troll threads are ridiculous. Seriously, why is it always Liara? didn't we also have WAY too much Garrus and Tali? I mean, they forced them into the three games. Why was Tali even included in the ME3 crew when she has such a high death ratio in ME2 instead of including other more interesting characters like Jack, Samara or Miranda? isn't that unfair?
Yeah, it is. I wish there was more samara (especially), Jack, and Thane. I wish there was more Zaeed, Kasumi, and Grunt.
And Liara's situation in ME3, whether you like it or not, epitomizes these feelings. We wanted more of everybody but all we got was Liara.

But Liara had the most.
Shepard's having nightmares? Liara to the rescue!
Thessia is burning! Go comfort Liara, like she went out of her way for Shepard, Garrus.... oh wait.
Going to Eden Prime! Must take Liara, it's not like Shepard has the cipher and knowledge of the Protheans in their head... wait....
Garrus and Liara get the most face time. Only problem is, in ME3 you don't have the option of ignoring Liara. They smash her into 'necessary' cutscenes without taking into account that Shepard might not like her.

That statement is false, during the mid game Liara has almost no interactive dialog, while Garrus has two or three fully interactive dialogues, also up until the romance scene Garrus has 7 cutscenes while Liara has only 5.
Let's not forget that Liara was also left out completely from the ME2 main game so she could serve as teh familiar face in ME3. If any, Garrus and Tali are the ones having excessive facetime (pun intended for Tali) in the ME franchise as a whole.

Kaiden
Liara
BUT, 1/2 of players don't have Kaiden alive anymore.
So therefore, isn't Liara the most "universal" LI in ME3, statistically speaking? It might explain her high levels of screen time.

You're swiftly morphing this conversation into a character comparison. Quite swiftly. I said she epitomized the feelings not that she had the most face time. Of every single squadmate in all three games, she is the only one that cannot die. Of all the characters in ME3 she is the only one with her level of plot critical involvement.
As a natural result people have fixated on her as the face and character of the time they couldn't spend with their favorite characters (like Jack and Samara). If you get upset at this scenario as I have presented it to you then it simply means that you aren't looking at the situation objectively and are simply bitter.

But she can die if you make the mistake of having low EMS and taking her during the final run, you know, same as during the suicide mission where characters can only die if you go either unprepared or make mistakes.
Saying that she "cannot die" because having low EMS is "botching it" is as ridiculous and inaccurate as saying that the characters that die in the SM in ME2 cannot actually die because you have to botch in your decisions or go unprepared for that to happen.

But she still can die, so much for your original argument of her behing "unkillable". Besides, in order to botch during the SM and actually get someone killed your Shepard also needs to be a "******".

They revealed on Twitter that Tali wasn't even supposed to return as a full squadmate in ME3 but they were going to include her out of fan demand. Dunno if that helps.
The problem most people have with Liara is that she's forced on the player as a good friend regardless of whether or not they care for the character. The same is true for Garrus, and to a lesser extent Tali, but the difference is that those two characters are insanely popular among the majority of the fanbase.

Indeed, it's relative. It makes me wonder if there was any refuting going on pre-LotSB about more Liara content. If there was enough, then I doubt LotSB would have even been implemented. If there wasn't any, or very little, you can't blame the writers for catering to the fans who spoke up about wanting more Liara. The way I see it, the writers thought, "Hey, we heard the fans like Liara, so let's give her more screentime." Now they're hearing all the angry people who don't like her (over-)inclusion and the writers and myself included are quite confused.
If these other fans really didn't like Liara that much, there should have been more hate threads before ME3's release. It's too late now and it's just a waste of time.

You're dodging the issue, arguing against the evidence of my position, not the position itself. IF you include the corpse of a squadmate on the ground in such a circumstance then I will remind you that, including such a circumstance, Garrus, Tali, Ashley/Kaidan, and the rest of the ME2 crew can all die TWICE while Liara can only die ONCE. The only three characters she would share that trait with would then be Vega, Javik, and EDI, all introduced in the third game.
Wrex can die THREE times in such a circumstance.
This train of thought misses the point of my argument. You can accept that Liara represents what she does for the reasons she does or you can continue to argue a series of minor details that aren't beyond contradiction and simply illustrate that you're too close to the issue.
