1 of those missions is for like 5-10 mins, fair enough if you don't want to take her on the other three but it isn't that bad.

And it's not like you can't just skip those conversations...

Having to take her on your team when your normal squad calls for someone else is horrible. She also needs to be babysat more then any other squadmate because she likes to run face first into fights. She loves to hug banshees.

You are also wrong. We cant skip her conversations. She comes up to Shepards roon no matter what you do and the awesomeness that is auto-dialogue prevents us from just jumping over them.

I can understand that but at least her singularity is ridiculously OP.

And auto-dialogue is a wonderful thing ain't it? Sigh.

I don't know if this has been brought up at all in the past 26 pages, but I'm going to bring it up now.

Liara is the ONLY squaddie in the entire trilogy that you HAVE to recruit and legitimately cannot die. You HAVE to recruit her in ME1, and since she's not in your squad during ME2(unlike Garrus and Tali) she cannot die on the suicide mission.

So naturally they would put a bigger emphasis on her.

I don't know why (and not specifically arguing with you on this one) people bring this up about Liara and the suicide mission so often. Like it was some kind of staff plot to make sure she was untouchable. The fact that she was barely in the game without DLC should point out much of an afterthought she was in the first place. I imagine there were people complaining up a storm that she wasn't a LI in ME2. It's not like they get that feedback mid-game development and can then add her to the end.

Singularity has some use for setting up bombs for biotic Shepards but anyone with a decent cool down time can cast their own powers faster then telling Liara to use hers where they need it since Liara will rarely auto cast it in key locations.

Its like someone went out of their way to make Liara a poor squadmate on the higher dificulty settings. :?
