Being that she's the only squadmate aside from Vega who's assured to be there the entire game, it does make sense that she's included in the most around the ship.
I do hate how her dialogue takes priority, though, during random missions and such. And, if I recall, the only mission she forces herself on is Thessia.
Too Much Liara?

It makes sense because you only had two choices for squadmates, James and Liara. Javik wasnt ready to join the squad until after that mission. That is if you decided to recruit him before that mission.

Try again.
None of your squad had a death scenario in ME3. Liara is treated no different than Garrus and Tali in ME1, the VS and Wrex in ME2 and the entire squad in ME3. Adding a death scene just because she scraped by without one thus far is just stupid, especially considering how important she is to the plot. What would be the point? Just so you can say "Hahaha, this is for not dying earlier!"?
Doesn't change the fact that adding a death scene for Liara just for the hell of it is stupid. By that logic we should be able to kill off Joker too.

Yup, because saving you from becoming collector goo or a husk doesn't prove her loyalty at all. Where was Tali when Shep's body was about to be handed to the Collectors? Oh, yeah she was helping her dad commit war crimes.
And don't forget Liara also saves Shepard from becoming Nihlus 2.0.

Adding options to kill of characters simply for th hell of it is just terrible writing. Getting your entire team killed on a suicide mission is one thing, but adding a Virmire 2.0 situation for each character just so you can kill characters you don't like is another.Mr. Big Pimpin wrote...

Well she was all was wanting revenge on the shadowbroker for selling info about your remains to the collectors. After all you did get spaced at the beginning and turned into a pile of meat literally. I think that is pretty loyal.

If that were the case, then the VS should have been given a larger role....as it stands, you lose the VS pretty much immediantly and don't get them back until much later in the game.usmack5 wrote...
Admittedly, Liara did have a lot of face time in ME3 (probably because her lack of it in ME2), but I would honestly preferred if ALL of the major characters had that kind of development time, not just Liara and Garrus.
PS I am not hating on either character, as ME3's role for Garrus made him one of my favorite characters of the series, where he didn't even breach the top 3 of before the final game. I am just a fan of equal representation of all the characters and their back stories (with a little more given to your LI maybe), but as the case is, they did well with the face time they gave those two characters in particular.
