Being that she's the only squadmate aside from Vega who's assured to be there the entire game, it does make sense that she's included in the most around the ship.
I do hate how her dialogue takes priority, though, during random missions and such. And, if I recall, the only mission she forces herself on is Thessia.

I have the Ashes DLC...I can understand her enforced for the Thessia Mission and Eden Prime....but just as note, if you have the Ashes DLC and have picked up the Prothean, Liara is still flagged as essential on Palaven's moon...Palaven's Moon makes no sense.

But then she is forceably removed for Vega and Garrus. That is the pair you MUST use for that mission.

It really bothers me, that my shepard rembered her in his last moments instead of his LI...

What I gather from the flashbacks is that Shepard had no life or friends previous to stepping on the Normandy, and Liara imprinted herself on your mind.

The all died on Akuze I assume and who the hell would think of his mother, when you die? :D

It makes sense because you only had two choices for squadmates, James and Liara. Javik wasnt ready to join the squad until after that mission. That is if you decided to recruit him before that mission.

Liara had her chances.. she was a complete **** in ME2, so she blew it.... she tried making it up in ME3... but nha.. she lost her train.

Tali has always been the most genuine since day 1.. hell even Garrus is more loyal than Liara... hmm... Garrus...

LIARA, WHY YOU NO DIE!?

Because she's the writer's pet.

Nope because she wasn't around in ME2 and was unkillable in ME1 just like Garrus and Tali.

Try again.

They could have easily given her a death scenario in ME3; they chose not to. So my point still stands.

None of your squad had a death scenario in ME3. Liara is treated no different than Garrus and Tali in ME1, the VS and Wrex in ME2 and the entire squad in ME3. Adding a death scene just  because she scraped by without one thus far is just stupid, especially considering how important she is to the plot. What would be the point? Just so you can say "Hahaha, this is for not dying earlier!"?

Tali and VS can both die in ME3 if you're playing as FailShep. So your statement is incorrect.

Doesn't change the fact that adding a death scene for Liara just for the hell of it is stupid.  By that logic we should be able to kill off Joker too.

Liara was my LI, so I guess I didn't notice. I semi thought all the extra scenes were because of that. If it weren't, yeah, I could see how there was too much Liara for those who didn't romance her.

The LI's from ME1 were pushed too hard. Liara was my LI, so I'm not complaining, but having Ashley and Kaiden pushed on me all the time was getting old.

Yup, because saving you from becoming collector goo or a husk doesn't prove her loyalty at all. Where was Tali when Shep's body was about to be handed to the Collectors? Oh, yeah she was helping her dad commit war crimes.

And don't forget Liara also saves Shepard from becoming Nihlus 2.0.

Not enough of her, but also she was the only person out of your entire crew that gave a damn when you died. Love interest or not.

when do the crew members say anything about your death?

Take Garrus onto tIM's space station....if Shep has a listen to the video files in regards to his rebuilding Garrus has some good dialog.

Why yes, we should be able to kill off Joker. Adding more options is a good thing.

I thought there should of been more squad interaction on the ship not just Liara but for everyone and where is my plumber/cook gone off too?

I am flattered that Liara cares so much about me,and the ending of LOTSB and the time capsule scene was touching but Tali and Ashley(the only 2 I ever pick has LI) should have had alot more scenes, given there personal history with Shepard

And I wish me an Tali could have had one last moment before the suicide run on the beam

Adding options to kill of characters simply for th hell of it is just terrible writing. Getting your entire team killed on a suicide mission is one thing, but adding a Virmire 2.0 situation for each character just so you can kill characters you don't like is another.

Well she was all was wanting revenge on the shadowbroker for selling info about your remains to the collectors. After all you did get spaced at the beginning and turned into a pile of meat literally.  I think that is pretty loyal.

Not if it's done properly it isn't. I liked the original Virmire choice in ME1.

Admittedly, Liara did have a lot of face time in ME3 (probably because her lack of it in ME2), but I would honestly preferred if ALL of the major characters had that kind of development time, not just Liara and Garrus.

PS I am not hating on either character, as ME3's role for Garrus made him one of my favorite characters of the series, where he didn't even breach the top 3 of before the final game. I am just a fan of equal representation of all the characters and their back stories (with a little more given to your LI maybe :) ), but as the case is, they did well with the face time they gave those two characters in particular.

If that were the case, then the VS should have been given a larger role....as it stands, you lose the VS pretty much immediantly and don't get them back until much later in the game.

I was curious about what happened to Gardner, too. It's not like his VA was unavailable or anything, clearly.

Liara also had her own DLC, too, and the VS didn't. Also, as I said, VS can die and Liara can't.
