Nay, I say not enough Liara! I want to have the option to cuddle, to take her out on dates, and to give her an assortment of gifts!
And, I guess, the other LIs could have it too.

Well she was all was wanting revenge on the shadowbroker for selling info about your remains to the collectors. After all you did get spaced at the beginning and turned into a pile of meat literally. I think that is pretty loyal.

Liara is the canon LI.
She got her own comic, her own DLC, and is the only Squaddie that couldn't die leading up to ME3. Sh'es also the only one that doesn't dry hump in her underwear.

Does anyone know what all those gifts you could buy at the hospital were for? I was to tight to waste money on stuff like that.

I don't necessarily think there's too much Liara (except how she kind of throws herself at you <_<). It's that the ME2 romances got kinda shafted. No real Thane romance, Jacob cheats on you, and Tali and Garrus get like 30 second scenes compared to Liara's and VS' 2:30.

If I had my choice of Asari on the squad, I'd take Samara over Liara any day.
No nonsense with Samara. You know where you stand. No puppy-dog-eyes, no flirting. It's all boot-to-ass, The Code, thumbs in eyeballs and kicking throats. This isn't a limo on its way to prom, this is a warship on its way to a battle.
But I do like Liara enough. She's cute and pleasant, when she's not trying to act tough. Her "tough guy" act on Illium got old quick. Very silly.

I felt like each character deserves some heavy DLC, especially the ME2 characters, Ashley, and most definitely Liara. Over the course of all three games Liara has been my favorite character, and even with the amazing scenes she was in deserved some more scenes, Ashley felt even more underutilized, followed by Jack, and of course the most underutilized of all...........Miranda.

I replayed mass effect 2 just to kill her off so I could play without her, all other squad mates other than her and Ashley (and kaiden derr) are alive.

Since Liara is my favorite LI by far (but only with FemShep, for some reason MaleShep/Liara seems off to me), my instinctive response is "There is no such thing as too much Liara!"
My more rational response is to point out she's the only party member guaranteed to survive ME1 and ME2, so they kind of had to give most of the important stuff to her.
