And I wish me an Tali could have had one last moment before the suicide run on the beam

She did:huh:

that was before the Cerberus base, after that she is just there, I am talking about on Earth

She has as much dialogue on earth as Liara does. Probably more actually. Or are you specifically talking about intimate time?

yes, I am talking about a "We may never see each other again" moment

Although Liara was one of my favourite characters, I didn't believe she was overused in comparison with the other squaddies. I do accept that she featured quite heavily in dialogue but as the shadow broker that kinda speaks for itself to be honest.

I guess the thing that bugged me most was how late Tali came into the game though, that didn't help. I wasn't sure about Vega either.

Liara definitely comes off as a more awesome character than most other characters from other franchises. Lightning from FFXIII comes to mind as well, however, that particular voice actor is so strong, she fixed the stereotypes I had about female leads in general, Jennifer Hale as well.

I generally loved all the characters, as they all added something special to the game, and some very new additions were ones I could get rid of if I chose to.

Too much Liara!? Surely you jest?

As an older female I guess I am immune to her blue babeness, I just find her irritating and over represented myself.....:(

I thought there was just enough of her. Maybe there should have been more of others, but not less Liara

Yeah, that would've made me happy. Don't take away from Liara just add more for everyone else.

Lightning.. of course.. the "I hate everyone until someone teach me to love" character of FFXIII or AKA Cloud with pink hair... thanks God Liara is NOTHING like her.... Iwould have offered her body to the colelctors myself...

I feel like she was largely restricted to mandatory cutscenes... most of the time you couldnt go and talk to her just to get to know her better like in me1.. it made me sad.

I love Liara, I don't think that 'too much Liara' is a thing.

Probably the only point where I felt there was too much Liara was when the game defaulted to her because, like much of the ending, apparently they couldn't be bothered to not cut massive corners.

If anything, there wasn't enough Tali.

I replayed mass effect 2 just to kill her off so I could play without her, all other squad mates other than her and Ashley (and kaiden derr) are alive.

What?

Go kill her in the shadow broker dlc when you blow up the brokers station.

That's gotta be a mod.

I dunno. Lightning punched just about everyone I felt needed a punch in that game. Like that idiot in the trenchcoat. Punched him two or three times.

That broad's alright.

Clearly, that was a wrong question to ask here, OP.

I think there's enough Liara as it is, though.

This...

Tali along with Garrus and Wrex, is one of the few with a real tridimensional personality... Liara has her moments, but often feel a bit boring.

If you are a person who does not like Liara then I can see why some might think there is too much of her. I've heard people dog her for being biowares favorite etc. and it sounds more like a case of people being upset their favorite character isn't given as much screen time or lines.

I happen to like her alot. I think she is a fleshed out character and that it is a good thing they gave her alot of attention because everyone else could potentially be dead. Interweaving story plot elements with character who could be dead would be a tricky affair. Instead of writting one solid explanation why something happens (random example Liara going to mars to uncover the crucible) you have to now write many more versions for characters. It's good to have at least one stable element to help push your story foward.

I'm a 21 year old gynesexual cis-gendered male, and I was not drawn to the blue skin. There's more to it than appearances and "exoticness". I liked Liara as a friend, but she doesn't seem like someone I would date. I'm more into Jack's type (riot grrls, though the one I know are as intellectual as anyone), and I only got to see Jack 3 times in almost 30 hours. Not fair. :(

Aside from the ending and MP enforcement to get the EMS up, I feel ME3 is a beautiful game...epic... But if there is one thing that really bugs me throughout the game itself, it's the over inclusion of Liara, I just felt dogged by her...she has the lions share of dialogs, lions share of enforced missions, lions share of essentiality, lions share of screen and Normandy time...I just felt she was on Sheps heels way too much with inclusion and cut scenes....Does anyone else feel this way?

I believe this is a hanging offence.

maybe if every time you spoke to Liara, it went to the lovemaking cutscene, there could be too much liara, especially if you got a universe to save...err...destroy :) oh the irony

Did notice there was alot of Liara. But she being the shadow broker would have alot of recources/intelligences. Plus, shes awesome.

Yup, she was kinda the new XO and also the Shadow Broker wich influence it's enough to become that important.

I've always romanced her, so I don't get tired, also it's pretty useful on battle so I don't complain at all.

More time on screen and more dialog for Liara never cames bad.

you would think with Ashley being a Lt Commander, and a Spectre, she would be 2nd in command
