recently, I've been looking at a lot of new threads, seems like many more people are justifying the ending, but i just feel like a lot of it is an excuse to make the best out of what we have.... its been some time since people have finished the game, and some already accepted that this is "the end", and trying to make the best out of it.... even i want to replay the game again just to play through a game that I anticipated so much before, regardless of how broken I am about the ending... but I have to continue to resist....
hold the line
Is the line starting to weaken?

No, while a lot of people have valid opinions as to why they like the ending, many of them are trolls trying to get a rise out of us.
Hold it.

The line is not weakening. People aren't accepting the ending, there are simply more people giving up on Bioware, likely forever. Bioware is running out of time, every day they hesitate more people quit, many may never return to this company again.
Years of loyalty are being thrown away in mere moments. This isn't something you can buy. Most companies would kill for this kind of fanbase loyalty. Bioware is just throwing it away. It's tragic.

The initial rage is over, or at least the first wave of finishers. There may be another. In between, expect to hear plenty about why the endings don't suck.
I'm guessing it will be pretty back-and-forth for a while. But I assure you, there are still plenty who are holding the line.

A lot of those "justifying the ending" threads are part troll and part trying to break us...BSN members planted to try to talk good about the ending (lol, nice one BioWare).
This is a war of attrition, and we will not lose. HOLD DAT LINE.
Also, people are taking a break from repeating the same stuff over and over - after a thousand times repeating how badly the game ended, it makes sense that it will mellow out a bit. Also, it's the start of the work week, and people have less time to vent on the forums.

Most of the justification threads are threads where one person posts positive things about the end, and everyone who dislikes the endings swarm them, thus keeping them at the top.

Stay strong. It can seem like that on the forums right now, but look at the numbers, over 40,000 FB likes, a poll with over 60,000 votes, heck, look at any poll out right now. At least 70% of the people who've beaten the game don't like it, and that's pretty universal. Show them our choices matter-hold the line.

If you don't hold the line, we won't get an ending that actually provides closure and a satisfying "end" to the series!
We cannot allow that to happen.

People can like the ending. It doesn't invalidate those of us who don't like it.

No. The line will be held.
A momentary dip in activity means nothing when the next news that comes out of BioWare riles everybody up again.

The ending related threads show no signs of abating, the big ones have hundreds of thousands of views, the group on facebook is up to 42000 or more by now.
This isn't going anywhere.

The increase of "people who like the ending" are probably the ones who didn't get the game immediately, or took the last 2 weeks playing leisurely. I'm not gonna name stereotypes, or label people, but perhaps these aren't the hardcore fans who would truly like an ending that explained something about all the characters they have run into in the past 3 games.
Shoot, I'd love to know what the hell happened to everyone in their own fights. Did any die? WHO CARES RIGHT? More speculation for everyone.

Week 2 and still holding strong. Quite frankly, it's not that hard, either.
