I think the line actually worked.
It just hurt the franchise instead of the bad ending... :/

I agree.
I didn't write the ending or make everyone agree with me that it was very bad.
I also didn't tell them to respond in the way they have.
Ultimately we're not the ones with control here, just influence.
I am beginning to think we won't get new ending DLC because no one will have the game anymore. Bioware will have accidentally scorched their earth...

No. Simply asking this question gives bioware hope that we are weakening but we are not. We are stronger than ever with the new media coverage and now that Amazon is giving full refunds for opened ME3 copies.

I was just about to post about that. That is probably the biggest blow to Bioware so far. (the amazon thing)

I'll be holding the line until the end.
Keep in mind that is the work week now so people probably have IRL things to do.

I've been here, I am here, I'll be here.
And those who actually wanted a proper ending, not ridiculed with space magic and plot holes, should come here.

I am not as angry back when I beat the game and saw the ends, but I still support getting new or more endings. If it's a free DLC, I will mostly forgive Bioware...if it's a pay for DLC....well...I'll never look at future Bioware games the same again.

The sudden influx of media coverage by news outlets aside from major gaming sites actually suggests the movement is gathering more recognition and strength. The recent revelation of the price drops from Microsoft and Amazon, not to mention the refunds, suggests this is only the beginning if people keeping putting pressure on Bioware.

Holding the Line. I have been playing RPG's a long time and I have never been more disappointed in the end of a game. I never got the pleasure of playing the first ME game because it is on PC & Xbox only. I am really really bad at shooting games on the PC. I played ME2 with the back story DLC and enjoyed it. For the first time I actually pre-order a game so I could get the Armour and Rifle and then the end came and I just went WTF.

I replayed the game again - just wanted to see what I had missed.
And the ending is still terrible I basically stopped watching after the Anderson chat.
Now that I have "fully beat the game" ( and I still don't think you can get your EMS above 5k without multiplayer which I did - ended with 7k or the likes)
I don't intend to touch ME3 or any dlc again unless Bioware addresses our concerns. My cash transactions with Bioware are over until something changes.

I haven't played it since I finished it (I won't say beat it or won the game because that's not accurate), so for me there is no wavering yet. Say two more weeks, and I loan my copy to a friend. Make me want to keep it, Bioware.
Hold the line.

The Free Companies of Texas should hold this line until the very ending. It shall not waver, not even in an instant.

Incoming transmission from Cpt. Kirrahe:
You all know the movement and what is at stake.
I have come to trust each of you with my Shepard's life, but I have also heard rumors of discontent.
I share your concerns.
We are gamers, toppling the status quo is not our way.
Think of those who came before us, Fallout 3, who convince Bethesda to shine some light into a dark and dreary world.
This fact does not offer us solace, but it is not all we may look to.
Before the bottom line there was integrity.
Before statistic there were people.
Our influence got rid of the Mako, but before that we held the line.
Our influence got more Liara and the Shadow Broker, but before that we held the line.
Our influnce will retake ME3, in the forums today, we will hold the line.
