While some people may actually like the ending, I believe many of the posts are done either by A.)Trolls looking for controversy or B.) Plants by Bioware. Yes I do believe they are using plants. It would be a good PR move.

That doesn't mean the line is weakening. It still stands strong, and we can still win this thing. You just gotta realize you're in it for the long run.

Hold the line for as long as it takes.

Still here, the resolve is as strong as ever. If people wish to enjoy the ending, that's perfectly fine. Different strokes, different folks, they're certainly allowed to love the ending just as much as I'm allowed to hate it.

I don't think the line is really weakening just not as many people are posting. To be honest the past week or so here has been the same. Other than when BioWare posts something.

Except for that time, it's just game media sites bashing us because they're jealous, and random trolls.

Here's the deal. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. People who like the ending aren't douchebag hipsters, and people who don't like it aren't whiney douchebags. As far as the increase in supportive post, that is just a natural response to other side being vocal. In any situation the angry people are always the most vocal. Now we are getting folks that like the ending rallying to it's defense.

Also, don't pull statistics out your arse. Either side.

Anyone who can't see how the hardcore Retake type people are being perceived as being militant needs to look no further than the "Hold the line" bit....

I totally support fixed endings and feel the existing ones are a serious detraction from an otherwise great game and trilogy.  I can't get onboard w/ the expressed glee I hear from some at the idea of destroying BioWare as company and the labelling of anyone posting positive things about the ending as a shill, idiot, drone, troll, or astroturfer.

The line doesn't have to be jumping up and down screaming at the top of their lungs all the time. The line isn't about hysteria. It's about working with Bioware in a partnership to develop the Mass Effect story into something worthy of the franchise.

Bioware isn't the enemy and we aren't insurgents. We both love ME, we both want it to be successful.

Yeah the line is not going anywhere. All we have to do is continue to not buy Bioware's stuff and if people ask us about ME3 tell them the truth about the ending not the lies Bioware told us. We will win if we stick together and we are sticking together.

I'm still in naked, stark disbelief here. I can't wrap my head around the terrible conclusion to such a brilliant series. I don't understand how it went so very wrong at the end when such loving craft has obviously been put into the entire trilogy.

Then it's like they literally went out on the street, grabbed the nearest hobo, then drug him into an office cubicle and made him write the ending. Then the real writers went out for lunch.

This is true. The second something happens, for good or bad, I think this forum will explode with people holding the line.

Not weakening, just taking a breather and preparing for another push.

the Zealotry is getting out of hand, especially from those that look for every little thing wrong with BW and concoct these conspiracies. I guess its all a part of standing firm and holding the line though, have to deal with the good and the bad.
