We don't need to rant the whole time... we were in an initial rage... similar to:

now those who reached the ending first are just here... waiting... seeing what Bioware is going to do... silently compromised that Bioware would not receive another penny from us until this is "fixed" and or explained.

LINE IS HOLDING... NEVER DOUBT IT

I don't think the line has weakened, we've just calmed down a bit from our inital rage, things are more organised and civil for the moment. However, things tend to kick off every time we recieve new information regarding Bioware so no doubt we will all be up in arms again at some point this week when something gets leaked or one of the Dev's puts their foot in their mouth or whatever.

Ever since the first day I came back here due to the ending, it's been literally the whole front page of "last post less than a minute ago." All threads being about the ending. For like a week.

There might be more people coming here to argue against us, but that is because it's so widespread and known now - it has become such a thing it's drawn people to it to disagree with it. So I'm not concerned about some (still a very small amount) people saying they like the ending - that's a positive sign, in a way, really - because they feel the need to argue with us about it.

The day I get out of the line is the day EA goes out of business. Until such a time, I will be holding the line.

The line is not weakening. People aren't accepting the ending, there are simply more people giving up on Bioware, likely forever. Bioware is running out of time, every day they hesitate more people quit, many may never return to this company again.

Years of loyalty are being thrown away in mere moments. This isn't something you can buy. Most companies would kill for this kind of fanbase loyalty. Bioware is just throwing it away. It's tragic.

This.  All but the most devout fans can say, "Well that sucked," remember not to buy anything with a BioWare brand on it again, and move on.  I've played countless games that didn't live up to my expectations, and so I sold them and never looked back.  Didn't care enough to voice my displeasure on forums or anything, I just don't give them any more of my money.

I for one plan to hold until the end, and I know I won't be alone. If nothing else, we'll know that we stood for the sake of our stories for as long as we could, and consider that a large amount of people have yet to finish the game.

Holding the line.

We hold this line not only for our comrades who are unsatisfied and make their voices known.
We hold it for those who have simply accepted and believe their voice carries no weight.
We hold for those who enjoy the endings to prove there can be something greater.
We hold it for Bioware who we love and will not allow to slip into mediocrity.
We hold it for the gamers yet to come so they need not suffer our disappointment.
We hold it for Mass Effect itself.

We will hold the line.

I know this has not much sense, bu it had fun writing it. It's a joke, don't take it as statement.

Shepard: The rEApers can wipe out the Ending and the entire series in a single 5 minutes scene! Vigil: That was our fate. Our hopes were dead before we even realized were seing the ending. The rEApers seized control of the Ending, and through it, the mass relays.Communication and transportation across our empire were crippled. Each star system was isolated, cut off from the others. Easy prey for the rEApers speculations fleets.Over the next minutes, the rEApers systematically obliterated our characters. Hope by hope, complains by complains, they methodically wiped us out.
Shepard: The War was lost. If you had accepted a payed DLC, they might have let you a new ending.
Vigil: No offer of DLC endings was ever given. Our enemy had a single goal: the extinction of all advanced fans of the series.Though the forums, the rEApers had access to all our wishes, dreams, ending theorys. Information is power, and they knew everything about us.Their tweets advanced across every videogame media of the internet. Some groups were utterly destroyed, others were slandered, their members enslaved by superficial DLC.These indoctrinated servants became sleeper agents under rEAper control. Taken in as true fans by other gamers, they betrayed them to the selling machines.Within few weeks, the rEApers had killed or enslaved every Gamer on the Market. They were relentless, brutal, and absolutely thorough.
Shepard: I don't understand. Where did the rEApers go after they conquered your people?.
Vigil: Our wallets were stripped bare, harvested by the indocrtinated slaves. Everything of value, all resources, all achivements was taken.Certain that all advanced fans had been extinguished, the rEApers retreated back through the Bioware relay into EA's office, sealing it behind them. All evidence of the rEAper invasion had been wiped away. Only their indoctrinated slaves were left behind, abandoned.Mindless husk, no longer capable of independent thought, the indoctrinated soon left or died of remorce. The Genocide of the Series was complete.
Shepard: What do the rEApers get out of this? Why do they keep repeating this pattern of genocide over and over?
Vigil: The rEApers are businessman, unknowable. Perhaps they need fame or money. More likely, they are driven by motives and goals, gamers beings cannot hope to comprehend. In the end, what does it matter? Your survival depends on stopping them, not in understanding them.
Shepard: You said you brought me here for a reason, tell me what i have to do.
Vigil: The Forums are the key. Before the rEApers attacked, we gamers were on the cusp of unlocking the mysteries behind the day 1 DLC policies.BSN was a top secret facility. Here, gamers worked to create a small-scale version of a mass revolution. One that linked directly to the EA' offices: the hub of the DLC abuses.
Ashley: The Forums are not a weapon. It's a back door onto the EA's Offices!.
Shepard: How did you manage to stay united?
Vigil: All official records of our projects of buying future DLC were destroyed in the initial Attack on the series. While the gamers empire came crashing down, BSN was spared. We severed all communications with the outside videogames magazines, and our goals were twisted. The members retreated underground into independent media. To conserve resources, everyone was put into Indoctrination Theory stasis. I was programmed to monitor the forums and wake the members when the moment was right. But the fight against the genocide of an entire series is a long, slow process. Days passed, weeks, months. The rEApers persisted. And our energy reserves were dwinding.
Shepard: You shoul've fought!.
Vigil: We were a few thousands against a galactic mass media attack. Our only hope was to remain civil.I began to disable the indoctrination theory support of non essential personnel. First, basic support theory staff, then true defenders of the theory. One by one, their hopes were shut down to use their angry energy on the fight.Eventually, only the stasis pods of the top creators of the theory remained active. Even these were in danger of falling when the rEApers released speculations from everyone.
Tali: There were hundreds of stasis pods out there! You just shut them down? You kill their hopes?
Shepard: You couldn' let everyone believed everything was fine. Better to sacrifice their hope, so other endings could be made.
Vigil: This outcome was not completly unforeseen. My actions were a result of contingency programming entered on my creation.
Ashley: I bet they didn't tell the fans about this contingency.
Vigil: I saved key personnel. When the rEApers retreated, the top creators were still hoping. My actions are the only reason we can hope for new endings. When the creators woke, they realized the series was doomed. There were only a couple of theorys left, far to few to sustain a viable DLC ending already planned.Yet they vowed to find some way to stop the rEApers from ruining it. A way to break the circular reasoning of the child forever. And they new the forums were the key. The forum gave them acces to the fans and the programmers. The programmers are controlled by the EA Offices. Before each invasion, a signal is sent through the EA station compelling the programmers to activate the DLC offers. After decades of feverish abuse, the creators discovered a way to alter this signal. Using the forums, they gained acces to the fans core, and made modifications on their will to buy DLC's.This time, when EA sent the signal to Bioware, the fans ignored it. The rEApers are trapped in a not viable market.
Shepard: EA must have some plan to undo everything you did.
Vigil: The one you called EA used the dedicated mass media to bypass the Gamers defenses. Once inside, they will transfer control over public opinion to EA Public Relations team. They will override the fans patience and manually open their wallets. And the cycle of usury will begin again.
Shepard: Is there any way we can stop them?
Vigil: There are links in my console. Take it when you go. When you reach the Forums Spoilers sections, upload it to the topics. It will corrupt the indoctrinated media arguments and inform all gamers of new independent opinions. And gave you temporaty control over the forums. It might give you a chance against EA.

Picked up Skyrim to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Also, I realized it'd be a lot more healthy to only check this forum every other day or so unless an fb message is sent out. My mood is right up there with when I realized Lucas had willingly ruined Star Wars.

Give a shout when you need the extra voice.

Holding the line in silence for now.
