amazon is now offering full refunds to people who don't like he ending. IMO this **** just got real!

I cannot believe how far this has come, from forum to the charity to the developer's officially responding to major news to actually people getting refunds...wow....I guess that's the alternative for people who didn't like the ending, it's a lot simplier than making a new one...

I'm still holding the line.

Haven't touched any ME game since I got to the end of 3. Been playing Skyrim like a boss instead. Guess Bethseda's the last good developer standing now..

Nothing is weakening. Cant expect everyone to sit here 24/7 and keep posting. But we are watching and keep holding the line. Even if people with time will come here less frequently, the long-term consequences for Bioware will still be there if they will not do anything about this ending.

I know the majority of people here, myself included, are still upset with the ending to Mass Effect, and I know we're still holding the line. This is a good thing; we wouldn't be displaying any passion or substance for our cause if we didn't.

But while the desire to see changes made is still as strong as ever, it's difficult to made yourself heard constantly when there's little news coming in. All you wind up doing is posting the same thing over and over, and making empty threads with nothing really worth saying. The best thing you can do is remain vocal in the threads we have dedicated for discussion on the topic and be sure to post whenever you have something worth saying.

But demanding BioWare employees to get fired and making hollow threats on the boards is the last thing you want to do. It's just going to make us all look really petty and demanding, and any BioWare employee that has to put up with insults on their twitter and on these boards is just going to ignore you and dismiss any of your comments. This goes especially for community officials who have no direct ties to the game development side of things. It's their job to pass on our comments and deal with fall out, but making their lives difficult isn't going to help.

Be loud, be firm and stand by your convictions, but don't go hurling insults at people whose job it is to mediate things. I'm not saying to roll over and accept everything they say at face value, but doing the polar opposite and denying everything and insulting people is the wrong way to go about it.

I know it's harder to not do it when time passes and hope is a difficult thing to hold on to, but the moment you WEAKENING YOUR INTEGRITY, the weaker your grasp on the line becomes.

A bit but nothing we can't handle. Something will come by and we'll be back to platoon strength again.

I'm just not posting anymore. I made myself perfectly clear - I'm not happy with ME3, I'm not happy with company's direction, and I'm not going to be their customer anymore.

The line is getting stronger as more and more people complete the game and see the ending finally.

The number of members on the Retake Mass Effect Facebook page has been climbing pretty steadily all day, presumably as more and more people finish the game and see the ending for themselves.

The line has never been better manned, and reinforcements are arriving all the time.

The line is not weakening. People aren't accepting the ending, there are simply more people giving up on Bioware, likely forever. Bioware is running out of time, every day they hesitate more people quit, many may never return to this company again.

Years of loyalty are being thrown away in mere moments. This isn't something you can buy. Most companies would kill for this kind of fanbase loyalty. Bioware is just throwing it away. It's tragic.

Yup. And I'm on the verge of being one of them. I'm just barely hanging on to caring about the ME verse at all, despite being a huge fan for years and investing dozens and dozens of hours into the games and DLC. Seriously, it's been less than two weeks since ME3 released. I never imagined something like this even could happen, let alone would.

If there isn't some kind of clear, sincere promise to release a full ending DLC in the very near future, my investment in the ME series might just be too far gone. And unless something really big happens, my trust in, admiration of, and appreciation of BioWare is already gone.

Yeah, it is tragic. It's even worse because I resist the few, weak urges to play the single player because I cannot and will not tolerate such betrayal and lies. I want to be the ME fan I've been for five years. I want this thing to be set right (or as right as it can be). But it's like your parent really hitting you in the face as a kid--that kind of shocking betrayal and violation of trust can only be fixed by something big, and something very sincere. I doubt we're going to see anything like that.

A lot of "I liked the ending" go something like this:

"I didn't really like it either, but let me tell you why it was good..."

I sometimes wonder if their love of ME blinds them to the failure of the "endings".

Well said. I feel the same.

In addition, if the dlc isn't a free patch, to me, that would just add insult to injury and I won't buy it, I will not support paying a lot of money and then having to pay for a complete well written ending. If I do, that will tell companies that people are quite willing to pay for fixes to rushed/incomplete/wth/insert other reason game endings and content.

Still Holding..

But I agree the line might be thinning, I think alot of people left because of the horrible PR facebook message a few days ago. Alot of people are getting frustrated methinks..

As for the people defending the ending, well it is their right. I Defended the Day one DLC got a lot of trolling for it to lol

Bioware can by all means claim it was their creative vision, but obviously the people they made for don't agree, So by not doing anything they are hurting them selves, if they make a ending DLC (hopefully for free) the people who want it can get it the people who don't feel it is need don't need to get it..Simple.

Na, the line's not thinning. It's been going strong for longer than a week now. People are getting tired of constantly being on these forums. Everyone's still pissed, per say, but they're moving on to other things.

Though, Bioware knows the damage has been done. Even though we're "quieter" now, anything can spark these forums up, not to mention they know if they don't fix it, next time any of us hear "Bioware is coming out with a new game", we'll double guess our purchase.

If anything, our silence should be scaring them.

No it’s pretty easy. From the looks of it they seem pretty desperate. The all out marketing blitz on TV, paid writers on bottom feeding sites boasting the game to high hell while attacking their fan base, lost revenue in sales, dlc, and returns, blatant see-through PR tactics, brand loyalty destruction, and an ever increasingly diminishing fan base. It’s easy to hold the line when the group on the other side is tripping over themselves. Doesn’t mean we’re going to get what we want, but they’ll be hurting from this fiasco for some time.

So (yawn)… still holding the line

It's rather, there's fewer individual topics about the points and larger group topics.

Plus, we're moving off BSN to make our point, Facebook, Twitter, private forum accounts.
