So I felt like building a love interest (though not essential to the plot) was one of the things that most Mass Effect fans enjoyed. People have been pretty passionate about who they would end thier 3 game experience saying I love you to. I for one relished the chance in the ME2: Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC to tell Liara that I wanted to grow old with her and have blue babies. So here are some endings I thought would be great for those who cared about the love interest and decided to KILL THE REAPERS!

For any love interest, the galaxy is saved and life moves on. Depending on the love interest, you get a scene depicting a different amount of years later.

Love interest: Ashley, Kaiden, Traynor, or Cortez
Time: 2 years later
Place: Normandy
Shepard exits the Normandy elevator while reading a datapad. He/she enters his Captain's cabin. He/she looks up to see ______ (insert Ashley, Kaiden, Traynor, or Cortez) in bed clearly naked, but covered by a sheet. _____ (Ashley, Kaiden, Traynor, or Cortez) looks as at you and says "Another mission?"
You reply "nothing that can't wait" while throwing the datapad onto the couch and stripping off your shirt.
Shepard literally gets a "happy ending" and so do we. Also, left open for a possible ME4.

Love interest: Tali
Time: 5 years later
Place: Rannoch
We see Shepard planting in a garden, wiping the sweat from his brow. A voice behind us says "you have a message from the Alliance Admiralty". We gaze upon Tali in all her beauty, not some lame **** picture with a sunrise glare in the background. We get some option as to how to respond to her. We also see the house we promised to help her build that's on the beachfront property she wanted. Then we head into the house.
Shep lives up to his promises to Tali and we get a nice view of Tali. Also leaving story line open.

Love interest: Liara
Time: 30 years
Place: Eden Prime
He/she Shepard is sitting on a porch watching little blue asari playing on the lawn. He/she is visibly older, but clearly happy. Liara, looking good as ever, walks out with some lemonade, making some comment about how she never thought she would like this stuff. You get to choose a response. The the youngest asari comes up and asks "dad/mom (or maybe Grandpa/Grandma) tell me another story about your adventures". Shep begins the story.
Liara fans happy. Nuff said.

So pick one. Then lets stop complaining and hope they have some stellar DLC on the way. Cheers!
