Still think that protesting the ME 3 ending is more important now?

Before you answer that, I'm going to tell you that he decided he would "improve" on the origins.

He decided that instead of making them mutated turtles from the sewers of New York, they are now aliens who arrive on Earth.

Still think that your protesting should be going to ME 3?

Shia LeBeouf. As Casey Jones. Hanging out with Alien Turtles who somehow learn martial arts in space.

If anyone here actually thinks that this is okay, I want you get in touch with your inner child and I want you to tell that kid this news. Then tell him you're letting it happen.

I guarantee that the kid will give you the worst metaphorical smackdown you will ever receive from an imaginary child representation of yourself.

Sounds pretty sweet to me.

I like Michael Bay films, hope he makes more Transformers movies. He should expand his horizons though, I was kinda hoping for a TES or Fallout movie by him.

I actually don't mind Michael Bay, but...

Shia LeBouf as Casy James!? Really? And aliens from space? That's as bad as the butchering of The Last Airbender.

I sure hope the owners of the rights have the right mind to shut him down if Michael Bay really pursues this.

But, uh, where did you find this news?.

Don't even joke about Shia as Casey. Next you'll be saying that he'll use Keira Knightley as April.

I really don't care, but it doesn't seem like the type of movie he would do. They should've got a martial arts film maker to direct this one. The action in TMNT is too small for Bay's movies. I just hope they get a good Splinter. I loved that rat as a kid.

Krosis.  By Sithis and Hircine and the Nine, I would be upset if someone made a movie about The Elder Scrolls Kalpa.  Michael Bay is not the Right choice for a TES movie. I'd Prefer Peter Jackson or the fellow who did the first harry potter movie. Posted Image

I guessed the whole Shia LeBouf as Casey thing, but come on, we all know he will do it.

Chris Colombus? The man from "Home Alone" fame? Riiiiiiiiiight. They should never and could never do a Fallout or TES movie properly so it shouldn't be attempted.

I thought the Hughes brothers already did Fallout.

Michael Bay could. I can't put my finger on it, but his movies have a sort of flair that would really complement a TES or Fallout movie.

We can only hope he's a gamer and wants to make an epic Skyrim movie! :wizard:

No. You see, Skyrim and Fallout have these things called STORYLINES. Micheal Bay is not good at working with those. His director style is "Shove-as-many-A-Listers-into-one-movie-and-blow-everything-up". Now while that may work for a Twisted Metal film, it does not work for Fallout or Elder Scrolls.

Who cares about storylines when you could have sweet battles? It doesn't have to be overly plot-y to be good. If they make a Skyrim movie it should be about graphics and combat, just like the game. Michael Bay and Todd Howard could even work together to make the action sequences! Imagine the epicness of watching dragons battle a Stormcloak army while the Greybeards shout avalanches down on both sides!

Oh god, oh god, please tell me that Shia Leboeuf has not been officially attached to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles adaptation. There are not enough frowny faces on the internet for that possibility.

I could see aliens fitting into the existing plot framework as easily as anything else, though. Anybody seen District 9? You know what I'm thinkin' there, right?

This is gonna turn into a "worst movies ever" thread at this rate. LOL.

And for your Last Airbender and Dragonball, I raise you a Van Helsing and a Jonah Hex.

I don't know what Van Helsing's reference was and I didn't know about Jonah Hex until after the movies came out.

But who can forget In The Name Of The KIng: A Dungeon Siege Tale and BloodRayne... *shudder*

No, it does NOT work. They are called Teenage MUTANT Ninja Turtles. They are MUTANTS. How does an ALIEN classify as a MUTANT? And how would they learn Ninja skills if the martial arts style of fighting was invented on Earth? And what does that make Shredder? He goes from leader of the Foot Ninja clan to some intergalactic space dictator? This entire film is (and I quote from the Warcraft forums) A SLAP IN THE FACE!!!!!!!!!!!

to our childhood. And where does it end? Am I going to see Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers become genetically altered cyborgs from the future? Is Captain Planet now an alien avatar of a now sentient Earth? Will I see The Powerpuff Girls become mutant popstar icons who sing by day and fight crime by night?

How many childhoods must be destroyed before the world understands?

Wait... Is'nt that what Captain Planet is? Gaia has the essence of nature and that essence is Captain Planet. So that's an accurate description.

How are they going to fit Splinter in? This whole thing sounds horrible.
