Please stop feeding the troll. No person could possibly believe Micheal Bay is good.

Except for the people that, you know, enjoy his movies.

They should never and could never do a Fallout or TES movie properly so it shouldn't be attempted.

I thought the Hughes brothers already did Fallout.

What, you mean "the perfect nuka break?"

Nothing Bay does will ever deserve a forum thread of it's own anywhere in Internet for any reason ever. Seriously. That guy has never managed anything but ridiculously expensive hollow bull****.  It is depressing somebody insists on giving him so much money to burn. It is even more depressing all this money moves because people vote with their wallets and actually watch his movies for some incomprehensible reason. RAAAGAHHH

The turtles coming from alien science is fine, that was always in the origin. But aliens themselves... No.

F*ck you Bay.<_<

I would like to remind people that bashing is not permitted in our community. This includes filmmakers you happen to not like. While I disagree with Michael Bay's decision to alter the origin--I have a very special place in my heart for the Turtles franchise--I am willing to keep an open mind and see how he pulls it off. It is not easy to encapsulate 25 years of a franchise's history and lore into a 90-minute film and expect to not only make money from a general audience but please the unpleasable fanbase as well.

Look at Scott Pilgrim. I didn't like the comic, but I thought the movie was clever, shiny, and fun. The general audience didn't share my opinion and the film didn't make money at the box office.

Bay made the turtles into aliens... no way is this movie going to be good.

And the fact that this is a Bay movie to begin with. This is me really trying not to bash him by the way.:innocent:

As for Scott Pilgrim, I like the comics better but I have no real hate for the movie, hell it was a good movie even.

Didn't a TMNT movie come out less then 4 years ago? Too soon.

now that was great imo

i just hate the idea of this reboot changing the orgins

the reboot from what i understand is going to be live action similar to the ones from the 80's and 90s

There was also a Turles Forever direct-to-video movie that was apparently really good that contained homages to the different incarnations of the Turtles over the years. Anyone see that one?

its bad enough i let it slide with transformers.

its even bad enough i let the freddy orgin change because he turned freddy from a child killer to a pedophile in the remake that to me is a no no

this however no just no i have to put my foot down

whats he gona do make shredder a humanoid transformer with ninja skills?

will rocksteady be what craing is?

no just im officially mad

yes i did. i watched it 3 times honestly

if there going to reboot a live action film at least do it right without changing the orgins

i just cant wrap my head around how bay couldnt use the old comics for inspiration because now those are dark and edgy in there own right

truthfully i hate remakes but id rather see it go the comic route instead of a complete orgin overhaul

Well, sure, but they want to go in a different direction, and we won't know how good or bad the finished product's going to be until it comes out.

true but given bays history of ruining such films i cant trust the man

its people like him why im glad the never ending story remake never went through because the creators of that film would not allow it

same with back to the future. they even said no amount of money will have us sell our franchise out to be butchered

ggggeeraaaa i am in nerd rage now

did you hear there remaking enter the dragon also? im sorry but how can anyone recapture a bruce lee film?

one of the biggest reasons why it was such a success is because it introduced us to the chinese culture

nobody can recapture that let alone replace bruce lee

even the total recall remake with colin ferril had a drastic change because they said mars will not be in....

how should it not be in when its part of the story itself?
