I am really glad I wasn't the only person who totally melted when he said that.  Holy crap, I felt like such a terrible human being.  I remember reloading if he said the other line he has set for that just to hear it.  Damn you, Steve Valentine, I am not supposed to enjoy someone telling a lady her husband is dead!

Yaaaay!  I can do the touching stuff too.  It's just that I prefer to not look like a 12 year old writing emo fan fic.  I think the first time through I cried my way through a few boxes of tissues.  There's nothing really wrong with that, it's just harder to sustain than comedy.

If he uses that "Hope you like heroes" line, he won't last more than a few seconds.  Trust me.  Ravaged doesn't even begin to describe the carnal horror that would be visited on him, and it'd take several cartons of cigerettes to get over it.

Fair enough!  She is hawt, I'll admit, much more pleasing than Morrigan... I would just prefer not being utterly terrified of my lover going "Princess Stabbity" on me.  To each is own, you know?

I totally agree with the sentiment, but fail to see how Morrigan (gives new meaning to the word 'god-mother') is the safer choice. Apprently her and Mommy Dearest used to play Preying Mantis with their Chasind love-toys.

The only love interest with whom you are reasonably safe is Alistair.

Even then, if you make him king he drops you for some noble skank.

I figure this would be the best place to put this, an actual real life conversation that occured at my real life work:

Boss:  Hey Posey, you play Dragon Age.
Me: You hear me and Coworker talking about it often enough, why, thinking about getting it? You should, it's a great game.
Boss: No, my son got it.  Grandma and Grandpa bought it for him.
Me: They had no idea what they were buying, did they?
Boss: Nope. He just picked it out and they got it.  He's at the part where he just met the hot chick in the wilds.
Coworker: Morrigan.
Me: So he's not that far in yet.
Boss:  I need to know if I should put my foot down and take it away from him.
Coworker:  Well... it's kinda a mature game.
Me:  Yeah... let me put it this way.  City elf origin, begining of the game, you are kidnapped from your wedding by a bunch of guys, so are your cousin and some of your friends, and they make no bones about the fact that they are going to rape you.  One of them is killed in cold blood in front of you.  You then have to go a murderous rampage through the building, slaughtering everything in sight, to rescue your cousin, who, by the time you reach her, has already been raped, at which point you can butcher the kidnapper in a huge gushing neck fountain of blood.
Boss:  Oo
Coworker: *laughing*
Boss: So my son should not be playing this game?
Me:  How old is your son?
Boss: 13
Me: Well, if he was my son, I'd let him play it, but then I'd also be a horrible parent, so my judgement probly isn't the best thing to go on here.
Boss: Hmmm...
Me: How about this *goes to dragon age wiki, pulls up an entry with an attached picture* Boss, THIS, is a desire demon from the game.
Boss:  Yeah, this game is coming off his computer as soon as I get home.

So Morrigan is the Preying Mantis and Leliana is the Praying Mantis??
