I grind my teeth and make unfriendly faces when I see.. scratch that, HEAR Isolde. Something about the way that she acts, helpless and pleading, just makes me want to push her over the cliff.

Well, she's one of THOSE women. You know what I'm talking about.

Gods, I love these boards. Someone quoted Neeshka!

I just sacrifice Isolde these days. I don't want to kill a child, and run all the way back to the mage tower? I don't think so. We've got mages right here. Ready to die, my lady?
You can do the Ashes quest before Redcliffe?Recidiva wrote...
What cracks me up is that I wiped out the Circle and then got the ashes BEFORE I stepped foot in Redcliffe this game.
That's really funny because things played out almost the same for me today (I didn't do the ashes thing yet)Recidiva wrote...

Then I also say that Jowan is untrustworthy and none of his ideas are worth anything.
Even Alistair says he normally doesn't recommend killing children...but he IS an Abomination.
So I think I'm clear. I actually CAN'T do the mage ritual and I've discredited Jowan.
What does Alistair do? Through a camp hissy because there "MUST" be a way to do it differently. Approval -25.
Actually...I've already covered that. But nobody seems to notice. Here, have an amulet. ******. Approval +25.
Nice to know you're so ignorant and also so easily bribed.

I actually (naively) thought Alistair would be okay since he basically recommend that I slaughter Connor the abomination. That backstabbing, spineless, limp-noodled moron went ape-crap when we got back to camp!!
At least Shale is upfront about it. I love her reaction to prezzies: "Oooooh shiny!"

Shale rocks! And not just because she's made of them, either. Great tank, great scrapper, no confusing, screwed up relationship issues, doesn't object when I want to kill people.... Hell, she'll even lend a hand. Nobody can stand up Shale for long when she's pummeling them with her flaming fists of fury!
Anyway... I think now I'll bid you ladies, and gentleman - there was another guy here, right? - good evening. I have another entire day of boredom ahead of me tomorrow, so you may have to suffer my presence here again soon.

Me: Yaaaay! Say it!
Elven hireling: It makes no sense.
Me: SAAAY IT!
Elven hireling: *sigh* Okay. By Azura, By Azura, By Azura!
Me: Woo Hoo!
Elven hireling: Can I go now?
Me: Sure. That was great. Here's an extra sovereign.

Yay for Bann Teagan!! I like him, I'm so glad he doesn't die. I flirt with him every time I start the Redcliffe quest (since that seems to be the only time that I can).
I do like Bann Teagan too. He seems to genuinely enjoy...um...entertaining his nephew.
And he yells at Isolde. That's worth a lot.
Though he always asks me what I want to do about Jowan and then ignores me and leaves it up to Eamon. My current playthrough I insisted on executing Jowan myself and he didn't let me
