I grind my teeth and make unfriendly faces when I see.. scratch that, HEAR Isolde. Something about the way that she acts, helpless and pleading, just makes me want to push her over the cliff.

Well, she's one of THOSE women.  You know what I'm talking about.

My palm starts itching.

So me being able to punch her out made my knuckles ache in that good way.

I just sacrifice Isolde these days.  I don't want to kill a child, and run all the way back to the mage tower?  I don't think so.  We've got mages right here.  Ready to die, my lady?

Yes, in regards to damsels in distress, she says, "I hate those women!"

What cracks me up is that I wiped out the Circle and then got the ashes BEFORE I stepped foot in Redcliffe this game.

Then I also say that Jowan is untrustworthy and none of his ideas are worth anything.

Even Alistair says he normally doesn't recommend killing children...but he IS an Abomination.

So I think I'm clear.  I actually CAN'T do the mage ritual and I've discredited Jowan.

What does Alistair do?  Through a camp hissy because there "MUST" be a way to do it differently.  Approval -25.

Actually...I've already covered that.  But nobody seems to notice.  Here, have an amulet.  ******.  Approval +25.

Nice to know you're so ignorant and also so easily bribed.

You can do the Ashes quest before Redcliffe?

This is only on the PC isn't it? <_<

That's really funny because things played out almost the same for me today (I didn't do the ashes thing yet)

I actually (naively) thought Alistair would be okay since he basically recommend that I slaughter Connor the abomination. That backstabbing, spineless, limp-noodled moron went ape-crap when we got back to camp!!

Yes, you can learn about the ashes from Ser Donnell in the Lothering Chantry.  If you go to Denerim and kill Weylon and get Genitivi's research, you can go to Haven.

So in this game I went to the circle first, then went to Haven and the temple second.

Easy mode is...well...easy.  Even killed the dragon at level 10.

But apparently Alistair has no appreciation for tactics.  I shouldn't be surprised, should I?

I knew there was a reason I liked Neeshka.  (Haven't been able to play all the way through NWN2.  The dialogue writing makes me want to cry.)

There are just lines I want to have:

(Cunning)  Do you know what the phrase "mixed signals" means?

(Intimidate)  I know, Alistair, whenever you recommend something I should do the opposite, because that's how Alistair rolls.

(Persuade)  *dangles something shiny*

At least Shale is upfront about it. I love her reaction to prezzies: "Oooooh shiny!"

I even killed Brother Genitivi once for Alistair because he made the 'replenishing ashes' comment. Then he gets all mad!

I give and I give...and by give I mean murder.

Do I get appreciation? No!

Shale rocks! And not just because she's made of them, either. Great tank, great scrapper, no confusing, screwed up relationship issues, doesn't object when I want to kill people.... Hell, she'll even lend a hand. Nobody can stand up Shale for long when she's pummeling them with her flaming fists of fury!

Anyway... I think now I'll bid you ladies, and gentleman - there was another guy here, right? - good evening. I have another entire day of boredom ahead of me tomorrow, so you may have to suffer my presence here again soon. :)

Yes, there is another dude that comes to this thread regularly. And by regularly I mean "In the morning because I work nights"

I found that Zevran is pretty up front about what he wants, too. Isn't really such a complicated guy. I've grown to detest all the  NPC's now on my umpteenth playthrough. Leliana especially. No matter how much I woo her, that **** just won't give me her side-quest or romance me.  Not to mention her "Maker told me so."  frame of mind.

Alistair's  holier-than-thou attitude grates on my nerves.  Morrigan is a self-centered **** and the rest of the NPC's aren't really worth mentioning.

you can flirt with him?
when's that?

Yay for Bann Teagan!!  I like him, I'm so glad he doesn't die.  I flirt with him every time I start the Redcliffe quest (since that seems to be the only time that I can).

I do like Bann Teagan too.  He seems to genuinely enjoy...um...entertaining his nephew.

And he yells at Isolde.  That's worth a lot.

Though he always asks me what I want to do about Jowan and then ignores me and leaves it up to Eamon.  My current playthrough I insisted on executing Jowan myself and he didn't let me :(
