I say go for it!  There's gotta be some great nutritional value in it to keep all those dwarves alive and stocky.  And like my Mamma always told me, you are what you eat, which would explain the golems.  Maybe I could be a golem if I ate limestone?  :o

I still think it's just much more likely that dwarves would be slaves of other races that have stuff like...vegetables.

Seems like you could just plug up the holes and have them pass out valuables if they don't want to starve to death.  Or eat limestone.

Well, pigs, goats and rabbits actually eat stuff above ground and not limestone, so not really.

Well, goats can eat just about anything.

Only thing I ever heard of eating rocks was a Pernese Dragon.

*In Arl Howe's dungeon*

Alistair: I hear screaming.
Me: It's a dungeon, people do that.
Alistair: No, I hear screaming. Close. I think there's...yes, just beyond the torturer. There's someone tied to a rack. We should help..
Me: No time.
Alistair: No time? He's five feet away.
Me: And I'm on a tight schedule.
Alistair: And the people in the cells?
Me: I'm sure they're all abominations. They're in a dungeon, they must have done something bad to get down here. What if they're blood mages? They're probably enjoying themselves. It's none of our business.
Alistair: Why don't we make it our business?
Oghren: Oh quit your whining, pike twirler.
Me: See? It's a democracy and Oghren says no and I say no and Thaiger says...
Thaiger: *enthusiastic bark*
Alistair: That was a yes.
Me: No, that was a no.
Thaiger: *enthusiastic bark*
Alistair: Please? Can I save someone? ONE person? Please?
Me: Tell the man, Thaiger.
Thaiger: *enthusiastic bark*
Alistair: Let me guess. No.
Me: I don't make the rules. I'm sorry.

And fire lizards.  I swear, Menolly would have kicked some darkspawn ass.

I loved Menolly!  She was so awesome!  Course, MacCaffrey's rather preachy style gets on my nerves, but when I was 16, I didn't know any better.

We so could've used a Gold against the Archdemon.  Or heck, against Flemeth!   "Let's see YOU go *between* witch!"

And we're gonna have a ship who sings, too, kicks you all to hell, Leliana.

As long as we're importing stuff from other series, anyone see the dialogue option to have Sten rip off the arms of the merchant who sold his sword to Dwyn?  I have yet to choose it, but it makes me giggle every time.

Heh.
"Fezzik, rip his arms off."
"Oh!  You mean this gate key!"

This is too funny. I love the name pike twirler. I would have loved to see Alistair twirling his pike though. That would have been an interesting cutscene.

Yeah, I want to screw up Landsmeet as much as possible so there's a high death toll before I make Anora queen.

Poor Alistair.

I'm definitely going to have to be actually nice to him next game.  He's earned it.

I'm going to try it too. I have a hard time being mean to him though. Not sure why. Plucker of nerves.

When the new downloadable content comes out I'll start a game where I'm nice to everyone.  Armed with how cruel I was this time and my mods, I'll be able to manage my frustration factor and I won't be curious any more about "how bad can I make an epilogue?"

That's right. I always forget to ask you what mods you have. I know you are heavy uset of them. I'm going to get around to sending you a PM one of these days. =]

Well, this game was heavy on mods.  There's my "punch Alistair out at the end" mod which I won't be needing this time but will be needing next time.

I have a mod where I am able to bash open chests as a warrior, so I didn't need any rogues at all.  Won't need that next time but it worked out a lot of my rogue frustration this time.

Those are the two that make the biggest difference for me.

Oh, and the downloadable respec potions.  Awesome.

The respec potions sound great! ~Writes that down~ I can see how that comes in handy. I know in my first play thought I screwed up Alistair's stats royally by having him and every set to auto level up.

The respec potions are found in  the "projects" section and I know the mod about punching out Alistair has a link in the "I'd do anything for you, Mal" thread if it isn't listed in the projects section.  Same with the "bash chest" thing.  I think they're all listed.

I always respec Morrigan to spirit healer/arcane warrior and I always respec the rogues so I can get them to have high lockpicking as soon as they can.  But I'll play my favorite class next time anyway - rogue, so I can actually USE the lockpicking and trap detection myself and play myself, without having to drive around Leliana.  The other rogues are absolutely useless in trap detection.   If they're not out front, you've already triggered it by the time they've detected it.

That is too true. I love playing the rogue myself and they never fail to find the traps. One playthough I'm going to be more tatical and plant traps. I really want to get into making the traps myself. Thanks for the info! ^_^

You're welcome!  I'm just about to...actually finish playing a game through with a warrior after...maybe three tries.  I do love mage, too, but rogue is my favorite.

I think it's hard for me to play a "good" mage.  The start is too harsh.  And warrior is just..truly redundant, there are so many already in the game.  It's very easy for me to be a noble rogue Cousland and actually want to save Ferelden.

For some reason I have a hard time doing the mage origin. I don't know why. I love teasing Cullen and screwing over Jowan's life. Ok, I'm a terrible person. :D

Yeah, there's no winning as a mage.  I'm going to be responsible for Cullen's death if I'm female and Jowan's going to ****** me off because his quest is bugged.

And I hate First Enchanter Irving with a passion.

I had no problem being a good mage. Jowan was my only friend growing up in the Tower, after all. Of course I'd trust him.

Doesn't mean I won't turn him into the Tower later, though, at Redcliffe.

I did that the first time.

And then I did things slightly different the next.  And I asked him about being a blood mage and he lied.  Then I turned him in to Irving, who wanted me apparently to slaughter all those guards just so he could screw over Lily and prove to Gregoir that the Chantry is culpable.

Then I get tossed out on my ass either way and EVERYONE hates me.   Just for being honest.

And then in that play through, of course meeting a TEMPLAR as my partner was not my idea of bonding.
