Psychic Impulses - what I do after a few times through

On a side note, I also have difficulty accepting krogen as dangerous. They look like stubby, humpbacked dinosaurs. However, the game leads me to believe the males have four testicles, in light of the expression "if you've got the quads for it."

Must've missed that one. In fact, I can't imagine how the topic comes up.
Edit: More fun with Krogan!
Quote (On Tuchanka): "Killing the Thresher Maw has resulted in several breeding requests for Grunt. And one for Shepard."
This is only MORE alarming if you're playing Female Shepard. >_<

I think it's when he tells you about doctor saleon.

It is. It's also a constant referall in ME2 on Tuchanka by "having a quad". And yes, I do play a female Shepard and found it hilarious.

So yeah, no super special weapons for sentinels on the collector ship. I picked up assault rifles. Warp has become my new favorite ability. The only thing it can't do damage to is tech shields, but sentinels also get Overload so I've got that covered too. Put me, Miranda, and Thane together and we can tear through any defense in no time.
Yeah, that one saw a lot of action on my Adept. And Slam for Advanced Training; now I know it doesn't APPEAR to do a lot of damage but you have to remember that its cd is HALF of Warp's.
Once again, the tech skills are unimpressive aside from Overload. The drone is lame, hack AI is kinda weak, I don't understand why the fire attack doesn't work on machines and I've mostly just been using it to conserve my Sniper Rifle ammo anyway. Hopefully they fix that (and sniper rifle ammo >.>) in ME3.

Agreed. The only abilities I ever used with my infiltrator were invisbility, and occasionally incinerate in between sniper shots on heavily armored enemies. I'm liking my sentinel's tech armor power. It's like a super shield I can instantly put back up when it breaks, and it sends out a nice shockwave when it does go down. Greatly improves survivability.
I've been having Miranda use slam alot on single targets once we breach their defenses, but I just retrained my bonus power to Reave. I like it. It gives me yet another power that can wear down armor and biotic barriers, plus it drains health from organic enemies so it should be pretty nice against the collectors.

All I did was spam Incinerate and used the occasional Assault Rifle shot. Lost Zaeed, though, so didn't get the achievement for getting everyone back alive. Bummer. Next time around I'll get it.

I've lost someone every time. First time I lost Thane (through my own stupidity) and second time I lost Mordin (not really sure wtf happened there).
Yeah, I wasn't impressed with the final boss either, or even the final area. Too short. Left me feeling like I only needed a team of 4 ppl including me, instead of recruiting 12 frickin people. 11 ppl and a can-opener. Whatever. Actually, I gave the can opener to Cerberus on my 2nd playthrough; Renegade approach. Maybe that's what I did wrong.
Beam Cannon heavy weapon makes every boss easy.

I've never managed to pursue a romance either with Shepard. I've talked to pretty much eveyrone and they're all oh so open to me and Shepard's really flirting but either they're denser than a pile of bricks or Shepard just isn't as attractive as she thinks she is.
Meh. Here goes Round 2. See if I can score something there.

Strange. How do they expect you to get the achievement if you constantly lose one member in the final battle? There must be a way around it.

I wanted to start a romance with Jack, but I guess I missed my opening, wherever it was. I'm bummed.

Jack only romances men. ME2 is pretty restrictive that way.
That game has a lot of potential for second playthru psychic impulses. I have the need to lash out at some of my traitorous ME1 crew members.

See, that's the trick. I lost them at different parts. I lost my first specialist on one playthrough, and then I lost someone from the rearguard on my second. I know I picked wrong on the specialist, and I THINK the problem with the second was that I didn't leave enough heavy artillery behind, plus I was short two people having basically sold Legion and sent Zaeed as protection for the survivors. Brought the heavy hitters with me since I was playing adept, and wasn't confident in my ability to solo the boss like I was on my first playthrough as a soldier.
I feel that some goals are too dependant on the Paragon / Renegade gauge, since some of your Rank 4 class specs give 100% bonus to your points and others only give 70%. I actually respecced on this playthrough (third time, Infiltrator) just for that purpose, not because... y'know... I actually WANTED that spec.

That's all you get from her, but you can call her up to your cabin to dance for you any time. There is no actual sex scene with Kelly. So far, the best of the females for that has been Miranda. Although, I do recommend recruiting Morinth in a renegade game. Remember how Samara says she'll say anything to get what she wants? Let her tell you how special you are, that you've died and come back already, that there's nobody else in the galaxy like you. . . See where that conversation takes you.I got so far as to get Yeoman Kelly dance for me in a very exotic suit but nothing more after that.

The only voiced companions for RTO are Wynne , Alistair and Lelianna. Someone posted that they heard Zevran, but his voice actor doesn't appear in the credits, so they may have recycled some of his dialogue.
And Loghain. I know he's in it for a fact.

I want to do an Insanity run for the achievement, but I think I'm going to put that on hold for now. Playing on Hardcore really wasn't fun. I felt like I spent the entire game just punching through armor, shields, or barriers. Once an enemy was down to just it's health bar, it was usually dead a second later, and then I had to break through the next guy's defenses.

Finished ME2 on Harcore, and got the No Mand Left Behind achievement. Worst enemy: Husks. On Hardcore and Insanity they're all armored so most powers won't work on them right away. And they just keep coming at you. Since I preordered the game I have the singularity launcher heavy weapon, but those times when I forgot to bring it and there were husks I had a hell of a time. Squad was down in seconds, leaving me running backwards and firing into a mass of husks, warping their armor off one by one and hitting them with throw, which I didn't bother putting any points into. Bosses were easier to deal with than relentless waves of husks.
Speaking of psychic impulses and Husks, I ended my current playthrough right before going to get the IFF. Easily my least favorite part of the game. You've gone a long way to convincing me to NEVER play the Hardcore setting.
It's as if, suddenly, the programmers forgot they were making Mass Effect 2 and started making Resident Evil in Space.

Hmmm, I duo'ed it with Zevran, and he most definitely speaks, and I wouldn't think it was recycled dialog as it seems appropriate, though who knows what was in the outtakes.
