This is getting a bit ridiculous. Despite its flaws Mass Effect 3 probably is and probably will remain better than 80% of the games that have been and will be released this year.

I don't buy 80% of the games on the market.

Congratulations, you've just realized that Bioware would be better off producing in that lower 80%.

to me ME3 fits into that 80% catagory... I was shocked that they had a planned release date of march 6th this year... this game need at least another FULL year of development... not on the game play, mechanics or graphics... but on what the game offered you and the way they finished things up. This games was clearly rushed.

This is exactly what we do not want in our movement.
Bickering and raising our hopes up.
You should know that this protest will last for a while,
so one should not hold on to these things like blankets.
Amazon did right in my eyes. THEY are listening to the fans.
So, now we move on. This was a small victory for us.
BUT WE HAVE A BATTLE TO FINISH
So, don't fight between each other, acknowledge what is happening
and for god's sakes,

Hold the Line

I honestly dont know who you are talking to.

I tend to agree that we shouldn't fight each other. In the end we're all fans of the ME series and passionately care about its future.

All of us wants to see BW succeed and do the right thing.

While we may not all agree on the way to get BW to succeed we should treat each other like the brothers that we are instead of "the enemy".

This cannot be restated enough.

TY ...

I also need to think over the return thing.  I truely feel taken advantage of but I'll give it more thought and will give BW more time.

You sir, are a more patient man than I.  I salute you.

That being said... if Origin was offering returns... my copy would be already there.

Since they aren't I shall hold the line.

That's cool. I thought getting my $80 back was better.

Bought mine from Origin. But even if they offered returns, I wouldn't return it. Yes, I'm dissatisfied with the ending, bit the rest of the game is a work of genius. Bioware clearly put a lot of work into this game, and it shows. So, I think I'll hold on to my copy. It's still a great game, and I don't regret buying it one bit.

That's a pretty balsy move from Amazon. Amazon always did look out for their customers. It'll certainly put Bioware in a tough position. If that's what it takes for them to release a DLC ending, then so be it. I personally would have waited for an announcement from Bioware before such a move was made. That way, we would know if their decision was based more on the wishes of their fans than on sales. I don't dislike Bioware/EA. They have made great games in the past and I am one of the few who liked Dragon Age 2. I have faith in Bioware. I believe that they will listen to their fans.

Once you finaly get over the ending you will regret getting rid of the game.

I bought mine at Wal-Mart. Even if they offered refunds I wouldn't take it. I love most of the game. Yes, the ending is atrocious... but if they end up fixing it I don't want to re-buy the game.

Except the product wasn't crap.

Man...we've playing this game for like 5 years. I don't like the fact that my response was "what the hell' after watching the end. I shouldn't have any questions at all or feel confused.

I've been playing this series just about as long as anyone and if you pay attention to what is going on in ME 3 there is alot of resolution to different arcs throughout the game.

of course there is resolution. everyone's dead, case closed.

that's not resolution for the main arc (the main reason for the game). hell, should i be happy that i didn't punch al-jilani this time around? sure. she's dead too so why even bother not hitting her.

me, myself, i went with pretty explosion color blue. then i never started origin ever again.

edit: sorry, i ended up inserting my response inside the quotes.

Agreed.  We're all fans and even if we disagree we all really want the same thing we just don't always agree on how to get it.

If we lose each other's respect though what's the point of the community.

Seems Amazon does whatever necessary to please their loyal customers. I am impressed that is a really ballsy move on their part. I think I might start using Amazon more after this, they actually fix problems when they occur.

+10 rep for Amazon

Well think about it.
Get a full refund then buy it used for 40 bucks or less when they/if they offer DLC
Can't see that helping the bottom line at BW/EA

The product wasn't crap. The product is NOT crap just because the last 10 minutes are odd. Get a realistic view please, less sensationalism and exageration.

Kudos to Amazon for reacting faster with customers-first in mind in offering the refunds.
They are doing a much better job earning customer loyalty than BioWare at the moment.

Things from bad to worse for bioware. Was reading reddit while smoking, there is a post there from someone who obtained a refund through origin by quoting his state's law on false advertisements and refund policy.

I'm not going to get into a  "Nuh Uh, yeah huh!  Nuh Uh! YEAH HUH!" argument with you.

If I could get a refund at this point, I WOULD.  My loyalty to EA/Bioware has just slipped another notch.

That's not exaggeration.  That's an unhappy custormer.

EDIT:  Grammar Errror corrected.

That is your personal opinion, a lot of us take massive stock in narrative, which destroyed the series in a lot of people's eyes due to massive plot holes. You both are entitled to your opinion as other people are as well. Gameplay does not override narrative especially in the final game of a trilogy.

Im not saying im going to get a refund, i wont, im hoping they change/edit the ending. If they dont ill hold onto it as a momento of what could have been.

I somewhat agree. I also felt it was rushed. The lack of characters for your party, the perfunctory handling of most of the ME2 companions (excepting Thane and Mordin, who were handled quite movingly), etc. I enjoyed it, up until the end sequence, but I still felt like it could have been more.

No, it isn't crap. It's disapointing. In a way, that's worse.
