They were on track and had me glowing with excitement and adrenaline until the end. That's the only area they screwed up. But yeah, ruined replay and dlc value.

anyone who asks for a refund is a retard.

Thank you for your opinion.
I'm sure there would be plenty people disagreeing with you, myself included,
but we respect your judgement.

Please do not taunt the group in any way.
We are civil. Not like all the other people who pass judgement on us as being immature and entitled fanboys/girls.

Thank you

And we didn't deserve a crappy product either.

The product wasn't crap. The product is NOT crap just because the last 10 minutes are odd. Get a realistic view please, less sensationalism and exageration.

I've been trying to get that through people's thick heads for days.  They won't listen to reason at this point.

When I play an RPG I play it solely for story. Really I hated ME1's gameplay but the story was so good I kept on playing. I have played games I hate playing but the story is so good I put up with it just to see how it plays out. Without the story the game has no value to me.... Unless I buy the game without caring about the storyline then its a different story.

I looked on the Amazon website and I discovered that Marauder Shields is the CEO of Amazon. It seems that he survived the bullet wounds we inflicted on him after all. God bless Marauder Shields!!

I didn't buy ME3 from Amazon or Digital Download but that's okay because I don't want to return it- I want a 95% glorious product to be repaired.
That being said-

I'd argue that most of ME 3's writing was still pretty good despite the endings.

I didn't buy from Amazon, and I don't really have any urge to return my copy anyways since I seriously enjoyed about 31.75 of the 32 hours I played on my first time through...but it's great to see distributors acknowledging Bioware's huge misstep here, and honouring customer satisfaction.

Overall it's just heartening to see that the dissatisfied majority is being heard. Hopefully it will lead to some sort of resolution in the near future.

And all you apologists can just go to hell, quite frankly. Enough with the garbage "people don't deserve refunds" and "you should be grateful to Bioware". No. It's a product that, while mostly very good, is deeply, deeply flawed. If you buy a car that is 98% perfect, but then the brakes don't work...would you just accept this and be thankful to the manufacturer for providing you the privilage to purchase their product? Don't be dumb.

@Pepitobenito: I sympathize with the sentiment but lets try to let cooler heads prevail, civility is one of the few things we have going for us.

I think I am doing this.  No better message than this one to get t across.  I feel better since I give Amazon a TON of money every year.  Will make sure they get some more real soon if I go with the return.  Not 100% cause I feel bad for the people that did such an excellent job making this.  Safe to say a few at Bioware will lose their jobs after this.  They should have used their head IMO.

I would wait until Bioware announces something. If they refuse to change the ending, then simply refund the game if you bought it from Amazon. Send them a message that they would be nothing without their fans. If you have a time limit on refunding the game, then refund it now and hold onto to your money so you can buy it back if they change the ending. Otherwise, tough luck for them.

Didn't expect this really... Full refunds on open copies of a video game? Has this ever happened before now?

maybe a tiny factor, but mainly due to the sheer (i like to call it a tumble down 30 flights of concrete stairs) by a major company, they are getting some massive brand awareness/dedication. Its a cold-calculated and truely intelligent business practice.

That and they are a good company in general if you have a history of buying from them. Usually when I return something, they tell me to just keep the product and they will refund me anyways!

That's how you keep a loyal customer!

According to another post you can get a refund from EA.

Unfortunately it's after hours right now. 8 hours and counting till I return mine... Hey Bioware! Clock's tickin!

Yup, 'cause in the end for some it just amounts to they can't stand anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Pretty much, yes.

Hey, let's sabotage the entire series!  That sounds fun!

I know not all the people who like the ending are like this, but damn if some of them just ****** me off sometimes.

Personaly I wouldn't return my copy until after we heard definitivly on ending DLC but I'm very happy for everyone who is able to get their money back.

Also I got  a PC copy from gamestop so I already know I can never get anything back for it.

I wonder what Bioware would do if Gamestop and all stores associated with it began to give out full refunds. >.<

I agree... However I disagree after Priority:Earth. It wasn't even the same game. Harbinger is a back ground character, you know the main enemy of ME2 that wants you captured. It is like buying a game when it is 90% complete and they said it was 100% complete. If they told me upfront I wouldn't be mad but they said it had 16 endings and ended the series... No.
