Boom, you hit EA/Bioware in the wallet and you still have a copy of the game, which was bought with money that EA/Bioware will never see.

Just off the horn with EA. You can get a refund if you bought it on Origin. I got one with no issues whatsoever.

Just out of curiosity, why are they giving refunds so easily?

They are a customer-focused organization. A lot of their easy return policy has to do with the fact that they were the first real internet store. A lot of people back in the day were hesitant to buy online as opposed to B&M because of the perception that if the order was screwed up you'd be SOL.

Because EA Customer Support always has been and always will be excellent.
Never had an issue with that part of the business.

Bioware needs to make a statement. Soon. Because more and more people are going to get fed up and the only thing worse than an angry customer is an angry ex-customer. We have in a way been spoiled by Bioware's amazing customer relations in the past; we are dying for a statement without the words "intend" or "should" or "we see", we want a definite answer about what they are going to do with the ending. Is that it? Are they working on a DLC? Do they have something up their sleeve? If it is the last, I would say their grace period is very rapidly running out.

It seems EA get blamed for a lot that is not there fault ,and Bioware get a pass because its fashionable to blame EA.
But EA is a business there accountants will assess returns profits and after heavy investment in Bioware 750 million for SW alone .
Will probably decide it is cheaper to end Mass effect and reconcentrate on their more profitable lines .Reducing funding to Bioware for the near future .
There may be a revision but if sales refunds reach a certain mark I think the end of Mass Effect is more likely..
