And we didn't deserve a crappy product either.

Except the product wasn't crap.

You've presented two of your opinions (with no supporting facts).  You're entitled to them.  We're entitled to ours.

And the next time you buy a product that turns out to be, inside the box, not what was promised outside of the box, remember: you don't deserve a refund.

I imagine BWEA is monitoring this thread, so I'd like to follow up, bearing atg's analysis in mind:

- I am open to buying any DLC that addresses our concerns. I will not buy any other DLC unless or until that happens.
-
I will hold off on returning the game for a time. If it looks like
real communication and resolution is happening, I will happily keep it.
If it looks like more delaying tactics and smokescreens are
forthcoming, I will sadly return it.

ha here's to hoping game stop offers a refund I might just take them up on it.

Gamestop won't refund it if you bought it new and played it. If you bought it used, there is always a 7 day return policy.

Just sayin'

That is really impressive. Big war asset for us!
But still does not solve our problem N°1.
I mean, I really want to love Bioware again, so they should rather move their asses and do something. A DLC would be fine with me, even paid - and after playing it, I'll decide again. So far not buying any of their products anymore, but I won't send my copy of ME3 back to Amazon. I will hold the line :(

If Origin and Amazon are doing returns, thats pretty baller for us. It certainly has to make them worried.

A civil, well reasoned and completely fair statement, well said my friend. B)

Actually it could work out better for the returners moneywise. If they return a copy and get a full refund they get between 60$ to 80$. If a new ending, or some new content comes out and they decide to rebuy it at 40$, they can save at least 20$. Had something similer happen back during the PS1 days with a game I traded in. Decided I wanted to play it again, and realized I could now buy it for more than I got on my trade in.

Personally I'm hanging on to my copy. I just don't plan to be getting any DLC or future games as things stand.

Asked Amazon (UK) if I could return my CE for PC even though it was opened. I told them the devs had made certain promises which they did not keep. They replied with:

I understand that you would like to know if you can return the item "Mass Effect 3: N7 Collector's Edition (PC DVD)" for a refund though it has been opened.

Under our 30 Day Returns Guarantee, you can certainly return the "Mass Effect 3: N7 Collector's Edition (PC DVD)" from your order # ****

It seems like the guarantee applies to PC versions as well, though I don't really know how it works with your game being available through Origin and all.

they started locking all the threads that had the main areas of communication. so returning will soon be the only option.

I'm holding on to my game until April 2. After that if I don't see anything a LOT more concrete that we currently have then I'll have to return my game :(

That's a bit daft, as there may be solid news on April 6th at PAX.
