I know there are a lot of very comprehensive fan made endings out there. I am not here to compete with them, I am here to share 3 rather easy to implement endings that seem to fit (in my mind at least :P). The added endings won't rewrite too much of the current ending, and it will use a reasonable amount of variables.

1.
When reaching the starchild you will have the option of arguing with him about the inevitable "rise of the machines". If you managed to make peace between the quarians and geth, helped Edi become more human, and/or had high enough paragon points, you will be able to convince him of giving the current "cycle" more time. The reapers will then be send out of the galaxy to darkspace, only to  return if an "inevitable" galactic war between organic and synthetic life occurs.

2.
If you won't or can't convince the starchild to stop reaping, you will still be presented with the original options. If you don't like the choises he gives you, you can choose not to accept any of them and instead wait for the battle of Earth to end.
If your effective military strength is high enough(very high!!), the reaper  fleet will be defeated,  ending with every ship focusing fire on harbringer. Once Harbringer is dead, all the indoctrinated groundforces on Earth will die. The starchild will be impressed with Shepard being able to unite the whole Galaxy against the Reapers and then proceeds to send away/destroy the remaining reapers, depending on what Shepard choses.

3.
If you chose to fight and your military strength isn't high enough, the fleet will be defeated and the reapers will bombard the crucible. Shepard will then look at a picture of his/her LI and wait for the place to blow up, there will also be a renegade option for Shepard to shoot him/herself in the head.

Why do I think it should be possible to defeat the reapers with "conventional means"? In mass effect 1 vigil explains to Shepard, "Sovereign is not invincible. Revealing its true nature would have united the forces of every organic species against it. Even a Reaper couldn't survive such odds". In ME3 we not only manage to unite the organic species, but also convince an synthetic lifeform(Geth) and an extinct species to join us (Rachni) Shepard managing to blow them up all the time is also a big hint

Normandy won't be fleeing from battle in any of the endings. The stargazer scene,if kept, could be done on Earth instead of some unknown planet.
