So I made an account with D2D for the DDE of Dragon Age and have tried multiple times over the last 2 days to buy the game. I have always gotten the transaction failed error. I have plenty of cash in my account and have re-entered the CC number many times. Is anyone else having problems with D2D?

I'm almost considering buying it from EA or just getting it for Xbox...

Steam is another option. You might aloso want to send D2D an email to see if they can help you out.

If you have problems with d2d go to Steam. PC>Console if you have the HP.

Werent there issues with Steam not supporting patches or something form Bioware?



I assume that downloading from EA would allow any patches to work.



I actually won't be able to play the game until the end of the month since I am out of town. I just want to pre-order so I can get all the bonus items.

I just want to pre-order it from somewhere so I can get the bonuses. My PC can run it at max settings according to the specs. I would PREFER to get it for PC, but definitely want to make sure that I get the pre-order bonuses,

D2D is the service that has issues with patches - not Steam.

Strange. I had the opposite problem. Consistently got a transaction failed message from Steam, but never with D2D.

I also have not been able to get the purchase to work with D2D for a while now... attempted using paypal as well and it rejected that... Looks like it'll have to be Steam since Impulse and EA don't offer any pre-order incentive items...

I've had this problem before with D2D this is why I use pay pal with them now. That and I like pay pal.

I had this problem (with both CC and paypal) and filed a ticket with their customer support.. they gave me guff about my internet location not matching my billing addy. Which is interesting, because I ordered from the same address that I billed to! Rather than get into it with them, I just went with Steam, didn't have any problems.

I had the same problem with D2D, both Paypal and Credit Card, and they give me the fallowing answer to my ticket.
