Yep.
Can you honestly say you would never buy another bioware game?

It's quite easy.

Well, I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but I never bought Dragon Age 2. So yeah, why not?
Being a PC gamer and having their games tied to origin makes the decision even easier actually.

After the disappointment of SWTOR and the abomination of ME3's ending, I can safely say I'll never buy another Bioware game unless they fix ME3's ending with free DLC.

yes, i can honestly say that

And I will be fine spending my time and money with Blizzard and Bethesda.
Its Bioware's loss, not mine.

I can't say that - but I will be very skeptical of them if this doesn't turn out well. No preorders. No game day purchases. Probably wait until there are fan reviews, which would need to be stellar.

It's not that I wouldn't, but at the moment there's very little chance of them making another legendarily good title.
I certainly won't be buying another mediocre game from them 'just cos it's Bioware'. I won't be getting anything that similarly requires Origin, and I won't be pre-ordering anything from EA/Bioware ever again.
So, realistically, yes I might buy another Bioware game. Months after it's been released, when it's still maintaining 100% fan hype, after the price drops. But there's absolutely no urgency now, and certainly no love or respect for their brand.

I'm done with BioWare and EA unless they fix the ending. No question.

Right here. I'm TRYING to give them the benefit of the doubt... but my patience is wearing VERY thin right now.

After DA2, I told myself ME3 was the last Bioware game I would pre-order... At this point, I won't get a Bioware game at release, either. *sniffle*

Yep. 100% sure that if i say i am done with a company i stick to it. I've been boycotting Sony for a long time now and Cryptic has recently made my list. Bioware is the newest addition and Apple isn't far away either. If things don't change with Bioware, i'll just write them off (completely) as having been EAssimilated and be done with them.

After I let the fact that they turned DA2 into a glorified hack and slash slide I can confidently say I won't buy any other BW game if the ending remains as it is.

Games just haven't been as good recently.
And I'm taking another break from them. By the time another Bioware game comes out I'm sure I'll barely be playing by then.
DA3 will have to be pretty freaking amazing and after Me3 I'm not sure Bioware could make the game without ****ing it up somehow that cheapens the experience.

I would NEVER buy another Bioware game. It is simple. They let me down (TWICE!).
There are plenty of good games made by other companies.
Fxxk the endings.

This ME3 fiasco will make me thoroughly check reviews and fan opinions on Bioware games before I consider a purchase.
I don't want to have a great experience ruined by 10 minutes of poorly realized crap.

Yes. Because that's the only way to handle the situation if you're dissatisfied with a product. I'll look elsewhere. I never played KOTOR and DA was fun but nothing too special, so ME was really my first and only steady experience with the company. There's a lot of other fish in the gaming sea, and I'm sure I can find developers whose products give me what I want. Ah, the wonders of being a consumer.

Posté 20 mars 2012 - 05:45
Yep. In a heartbeat. I have been a loyal customer, not a fan, a customer of Bioware since Star Wars: KOTOR. Then they pull this on their loyal customers.
If I went to a store and they deliberatly lied to me about an item I was buying, and then gave me the run-around when I asked them to correct their mistake, do you think I would ever shop there again? Absolutely not.
I am not a "fan" or a "follower". I am their customer and I want the product I was promised or I won't shop with them again.

No more pre-orders from me and if I do buy something, I can wait until the price comes way down. I don't believe in supporting liars, and they lied more than a little to us about this product.

Yes i can, and i won't. After all the money and time invested, i dont feel like taking a chance of having it happen once again if nothing is done.

Nope, no more falling for their many lies again.

Yes, I've spent a lot of money(ME1 +DLC, ME2 + DLC, ME3 CE) and time(6 years) on the mass effect series. Asking for closure, or just an epilogue to the largest and longest running character driven stories is reasonable. Without it? My money will go to more deserving developers.

Not after they effectively kill the Dragon Age and Mass Effect franchises like this.
This is the start of EA slowly strangling them to death with rushed deadlines and more hurried calls to help support the shareholders instead of the fans. May as well say goodbye now and try to remember the good instead of waiting around until she's crippled with Alzheimer's.
