Yes.

I've never been a diehard Bioware fan. Just an average one. Don't LOVE their games, but they're certainly better than most of the crap out there. Or were.

We'll see.

Unless this is fixed, I will no longer buy any bioware products. I would support a spinoff company if many people left bioware but I will no longer buy Bioware products.

We were betrayed on so many levels its disgusting. I can't believe I wasted so many hours in these games only to see the worst and more pointless ending in video game history.

The ending from Contra makes more sense than this.

No. But I usually buy games a good while after they release- ME3 was both my first pre-order and my first CE. I am not sure I'll do that again.

Yes.

Because I sincerely believe that I have the integrity and principles not to eat at a resturant again if find a dead rat in my soup - and the chef says, "Theres nothing wrong with the food" even if I hold the dead rat infront of him.

Couldn't have said it better, this sums up my feelings towards Bioware.

I dont support businesses that deceive and lie to their customers, like Casey Hudson and all of the ME senior management did in the run up to the release of this game.

So no, i will never purchase a product with the Bioware name on it again.

I will never preorder another EA/Bioware game. I will wait for at least two weeks to make sure player reviews have a chance to be explored.

I'd buy it. Because 99% of the ME3 has been wonderful.
I mean, would you stop reading books from a certain writer because he decides to do a bad ending? The majority of enjoyment lies in reading that book, or in this case, playing the game. If you are going to reject something simply because it contained one bad thing, I'd say you're quite shallow.

How they handle this issue will have a giant impact on how I view their design philosophy, credibility and reputation in the future.

"Pre-ordering" and getting burned will not happen again.

I will probably buy Bioware games in the future.

But I used to automatically pre-buy their games. Then I started reading reviews before buying. Now I'm waiting for reviews + customer feedback. There is a good chance now that I'll just pass if I see an outcry like this one.

It's sad because CD Projekt RED has gained my trust with Witcher 2, they are in the category that Bioware used to occupy-- first day purchase. Also Bethesda has moved up for me due to their continuous improvement. Bioware used to be head and shoulders above every other developer for me. I never imagined a day when Bethesda or some Polish developer came close, but oh well... I kind of knew what was coming after EA bought them. :crying:

What's even better is when the other customers in the restaurant start rallying and saying, "But maybe the rat was part of the dish! Or maybe (Indoctrination theorists) he's just trolling you, and he'll bring out the real soup in the next course! Just wait and see!"

Some people are too naive. It's a gaming company. They try to make a profit, not art. And like any other company that screws up this badly, of course I will never buy any Bioware game again in the future. There's plenty of other companies out there making just as good of games. Hell, this year we'll see Assassin's Creed 3 and Bioshock Infinite, and likely one or two other titles that may not even have been officially announced yet.

Never ever again, unless they fix this disaster. I don't have a ton of money as it is. I would be really easy not to buy another game from them.

I am defiantly not pre-ordering again(I made the mistake of preordering and buying the DLC - assuming Bioware would follow through on the pr hype). I would buy another Bioware title - in spite of this debacle, they still make good games.

Definate no to a collectors edition. Definate no to any more DLC until ME3's ending gives me more options than "what is your favorite color?" and makes sense. Throwing in the crass notepad ending "buy moar DLC!" without giving any form of closure was just insulting.

Next time I will wait for the meta critic reviews to filter in. If the next Bioware AAA title pulls some BS "art" ending, count me out. Flat out not going to buy it. Period. I pay for entertainment, not a tribute to someone's favorite indie band. If I wanted art, I would go to an art gallery. If you want to sell an artistic game, advertise it as such. Not a bait and switch.

Hard to say. I hated the endings just as much as anyone, but I won't base future purchase decisions off that. However, I will not be buying future bioware games if they keep up with this direction of cinematic based action oriented games. If they go back to making more rpg based games I will give them another shot.

Probably not. But I'll never pre-order anything again. And I'll wait days after a release for customer reviews. I won't let them do what they did to me with Mass Effect 3 again.

While I can say FOR SURE that I will never be preordering their games again, and most likely never again buying it at full price. If they come out with a game that everybody on the internet says is totally awesome, then yeah, Id buy another game from them. But only after I was sure it was amazing.

C&C Generals is one of my favourite games, so I will almost certainly be buying Generals 2.

Besides, I'm thoroughly enjoying the vast majority of ME3. With the exception of the ending, I would put it easily in my top 10 games, possibly even just pushing into the top 5.

I'm going to base future purchases from Bioware on the individual merits of the game in question. Given how much I love the majority of ME3 - indeed, I love the majority of this 90 hour or so trilogy - I'm not going to let the final 5 minutes dictate future purchases from them.

Not sure, really. The ending of Mass Effect 3 really soured it for me and while Dragon Age 2 wasn't a bad game, the lazy, repeat dungeons and the direction of the story wasn't quite where I saw the series going.
The day one DLC for ME3 was a bit cheeky and being forced to play the multiplayer to get the supposed "best" ending was a major fail.

Don't think I'll be buying their games on day 1 release, as I've lost a bit of faith in them, but I couldn't say I'll never buy their games again.
However, if they do address the poor endings of ME3 and actually do something positive about it, as well as patch the game so you don't have to play MP to get over 5000 EMS, then it'll definitely restore my faith in them and prove that BioWare really does care about it's fans.

Jade Empire is still on my top 5 all time greatest games list and I too have wished for many years of a JE2 but what is too stop them from doing the same things that have been done to recent releases DA2 and ME3?  My trust in them to actually getting it done satisfactory is at an alltime low and I never thought I would say that about a BW game.

Too be fair however it isn't just BW/EA games that I have this problem with.  Other than the Assassin's Creed line everything I have bought lately has had issues or just plain bad writing/story arc that it makes me wonder why I wasted 50+ dollars.  Too me FF XIII-2 is a great example of how corporate greed has over taken putting out a good product.  One NEVER should have to pay extra cash for a ending that is just weak and I refuse too do it.  Easier and cheaper to just watch it on youtube.

I am very confident I will never buy an bioware game at launch again. I am 100% certain of that. I am fairly certain I will just avoid Bioware in general. There are many game companies out there, and plenty of other games to play. Its been 9 days since I beat this game, and i still feel let down by it. I've never played any other game series where a week afterwards I was bothered by it being bad (and I have played plenty of bad games over the years)

this was a let down on a much larger scale.

Avoiding EA will be harder as their footprint is sadly so large. I will think twice about what games I buy though.

Unless we have more ending options, yes. Don't care about any DA games after DA:O. Don't care about any ME games after 3 unless we get more endings. Don't care about any new IPs either really. This whole thing made me wary.

Unless the endings are changed or explained with closure then I won't be buying any more Bioware games. I don't want to get sucked into another series of games and gut punched again. My trust in the company is shaken and they need to redeem their brand name imho.

Definitely not pre-ordering again. This was the first time I've pre-ordered a game but had such faith in ME that figured that it was a safe bet. Never again.

My frustrations have made me state before that I will not buy any more Bioware products (and perhaps any EA products) if they don't fix the ending.  The waiting game, and allowing my temper to cool has made me reasses that statement.

The truth is that at this point, if they don't fix the ending I will have lost most if not all faith in their storytelling ability.  This was the very reason I would buy/pre-order their product without a second glance, their stories were well thought out and wonderfully executed.

I don't buy many games in a year, so I'd probably do what I do with other companies;  If a game really looks good I'll pick it up in 6 months ot a year after it came out.   Long enough to hear word of mouth, and possibly get a version with a bunch of DLC/extras.  It's what I did for Fallout 3 (waited till they had the Game of the Year edition with all 5 DLC) and Borderlands.

Just being realistic instead of irrational.

Yes, If the ending is not fixed, I will never by another Bioware game. Heck, I will never buy another EA game.
