To the thread title:

YES.

The best BW can hope for, should it not make up for what they did here, is for me to consider buying one of their games at a significant discout, well after release, ONLY after thoroughly researching the reviews, player reception, and playthroughs of it.

I would wait for it to drop in price, maybe a year after. Won't give that to much of my respect....damn you mass effect.

This. I can't even safely say that once they fix the ending that I'd not do it anyway since I'm so disappointed about this ending. It's just still too fresh in my mind.

No I would still buy Dragon Age 3 (Because I love that series including 2) but I can honestly say that I will not buy any Mass Effect thing and defiantly not dlc for 3.
Also if they don't fix the ending they will drop down from my favorite game company.

I know some people don't mind the ending but for me it is the most important part and knowing that I never know what happened to all the characters I came to care about they effectively ruin 3 games for me.

After what they did to Dragon Age with the sequel, my faith was shaken. I did enjoy some aspects of DA2, but it's no DA:O for sure. Now seeing what they've done with Mass Effect - I just don't have any faith at all in them now. ME3 was the best game I've ever played until the ending, but even that journey started off shaky with this DLC nonsense at the start. That plus the ending has completely crushed all my faith in Bioware.

However, in all honesty, I'm still playing SWTOR and enjoying it. That has been a shaky start, but I'm playing patch 1.2 on the test server and I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. If they can patch ME3 in the same spirit of making thing right that patch 1.2 is doing for SWTOR, then they will win me back as a customer for DLC and future projects. If not, then I will keep playing SWTOR for as long as it can hold my interest but I will not purchase any future Bioware games or ME DLC.

Hey maple, did Patch 1.2 fix conceal operatives?
Because if not I'm not coming back, screw that team, all that effort to get to 50 only to be virtually gutted not once but TWICE in the next two weeks due to "pvp balance", unfortunately they didn't make seperate systems or power effects for pve and pvp, thus dailies at 50 became hell to do after the nerfs.

Maybe if they did Jade Empire 2.

Yeah see I thought that, then I pre ordered SWTOR, and like a fool I pre ordered Mass Effect 3.

Now..., well not even if they announced Jade Empire 2 with complete endings, no DLC (All in the game!) and such I'd just walk away, not worth it in my eyes, I got excited over two of their newest releases only to be let down horribly by both.

Fool me once, shame on me, Fool me twice, shame on you, There will not be a third time.

I'll only buy ME4 if it takes place after ME3 and Shepard is in it (which she/he won't be) or if they fix the ending.

I agree, no more preorders for me either.

If they do not address this ending debacle, and continue to make false promises during development, then no I will never buy another Bioware Game. I hate to say it because I love most of their games, but their handleing of this is terrible thus far.

SWToR and Mass Effect are their only games that interest me.

If this ending leaves me feeling as cheap and aggrivated as it does now? I can honestly say I won't go back to SWToR or buy another ME game.

And as previously stated, none of their other games interest me.

Yes.

I've been a fan of Bioware for a long time. I defended Mass Effect 2 and I defended Dragon Age 2 pre-release as well as post-release on certain issues even though it was below-average for Bioware. Mass Effect 3's ending is just not something that can be defended. It ruins the entire franchise. Honestly, if they don't fix it and learn from it, I don't want to stick around to see what will happen to Dragon Age or Bioware's next IP.

I wouldn't swear off their games entirely, especially because this hasn't played out fully yet, but I'm definitely going to be a lot more cautious from here on out. I used to get really blindly hyped up for game releases that I thought I'd like, but after several subsequent disappointments, I'm learning to cool my jets a bit, let games release, and gather up as much info as I can from reviews so I can make a decision whether or not I'd like to play it.

So my general distrust in developers has been a gradual development, really. I'm glad I've wrapped up the ME series, and I had an absolutely amazing time up until those last five minutes -- I won't deny that for a second. But.. man, after all of this nonsense, I will be a very wary person.

To OP:
No, I can't and I won't. They screwed up bigtime with the ending but that the rest of the game was great actually restored a part of my faith that was lost with DA2 (which was a rather cheap rushjob planned to quickly capitalize on DA:O's popularity. But I'm curious to see how they'll finally address the issue and still, the fact stands that they have made false promises.

Therefore, I won't preorder the next game, that's for sure and will not buy it until well-written fan reviews will convince me that they have learned from their mistakes and been more honest in advance.

And, as long as the ending issue isn't addressed, I will most likely not buy any DLC or any other ME-related articles ("The Art of the Mass Effect Universe" was on my personal buying list for next month - not anymore).

YES! Once you break promises and deliver something almost completely the opposite of what you got me excited to purchase, then it is really easy for me to say, NEVER AGAIN! Bioware screwed up, and screwed up badly. The ending does not fit the 98% that came before it. This WAS the greatest game series I have ever played (been playing games since '75) and the last 10 minutes, absolutely ruined it.

There are plenty of games for me to play...I will miss Bioware...they are no longer the company I thought I knew...

If the endings aren't fixed, I can honestly say that I won't buy any more Bioware games. And I will do my utmost to warn others away from them.  If they ARE fixed...I don't know.  Let's see what kind of job they do.

If they make games I want to play, then I'll buy it. However, my faith is shaken after DA2 and ME3. I will not be preordering anymore.

I will never pre-order a game from them again. I pre-ordered two copies of ME2 to get all the DLC stuff. I refused to pre-order after that. A friend convinced me to pre-order the CE from Gamestop. Even if they don't fix things... I guess (?) I'm happy I have it?

But I won't pre-order again, ever. Not from Bioware, not after the ending and DA2. (Oh yeah, I pre-ordered DA2 as well.) :(

Maybe, but not on release. Even if they fix the ending, with DA2 and ME3 ending I will wait until prices go a bit down if the game is positively reviewed

Yes.  I bought into the Mass Effect franchise because my friends insisted that choices mattered from game to game.  In the end, they did not.  This element of choice...already broken in the Mass Effect franchise, has never really been a significant part of any other game Bioware has released.  Generally speaking, choices you made in DA: Origins didn't carry over into DA2.

If they fix their mistake, adding a series of endings that are truly different depending on your choices (even if they all feature God Kid), then I'm prepared to believe they learned from this experience.  If they do not, then I can only imagine they will repeat the mistake again.

I've been wanting another Jade Empire, but after ME3, I'm more than a little apprehensive about it.
