The more I'm learning this week, the more I'm pretty sure I'm done. At the very least, I'm never pre-ordering again. I will not buy another BioWare product unless it's been out for some time, and I can be assured by people who have played it that it is worth it.

In other words, unless BioWare redeems themselves and learns from the mess they've presided over for the last two years, it's looking very, very unlikely.

Plus most games can be picked up pre-owned for $20 a week or two after release. I have much more tolerance when I play a game for free or for $20 then when I caugh up $80 for a CE.

Yeah no probelm. Bioware totally in the dirt now. Lost of some key people. Now DAII was garbage. Now Mass Effect 3. I have not bought TOR but I played the beta and was bord as hell with that game. Was at one time my most looked forward to mmorpg.

3 strikes and your out simple as that. Bioware cannot deliver anymore. I am not really looking forward to DAIII and even people do buy bioware games. I suggest they do not preorder and wait at least 2-3 weeks until proper reviews come out.

It has affected my faith in BioWare, but I still plan on checking DA3 out. I don't know if I will support ME any longer though.

no, bioware is now a bad studio so beholden to EA masters they cannot manage their own projects.

What! You don't trust 'professional' critics?

Oh wait...

Never say never, they say.

I do know that I've been soured in my expectations from BioWare (by both DA2 issues and the ME3 endings) and as such will not pre-order or buy full price until I regain that trust in the developer.

Not sure if I can think of anything that Bioware would release after ME3...

Jade Empire 2? A new IP? Another Dragon Age game? A Mass Effect MMO?

Until they make some announcements, I can't really be sure.

I will never pre order Bioware Games again and I'll probably wait until all the DLC has been released and I do not want to play a game that will really end in a DLC ever again.

Probably it will be more difficult for me to believe in a new saga that Bioware will come to create. But I will give then a chance to redeem themselves. After see all the scores reviews and the prices drop. LOL

Yes and I'd warn everyone I know to stay away. I didn't put hundreds of hours in to Mass Effect to feel like **** at the end.

No way.

Yes, I can . honestly say that...its not that hard really

There are plenty of other IP's  that can give me an equally enjoy experience than just Bioware.   Thats there problem we have been too loyalty to the point of blindness.   Bioware  now thinks that it can just do what ever and people will march along happily.  No - the only company  I have seen get away with that is Nintendo and  they just do barely.
The difference being Nintendo has a far more extensive resume.

Sure.
After DAII I only touched ME3 because I played ME1+2 and it's one storyarc, but I bought it the cheapest way I could get it in the end.

Just like I didn't touch Creative ASSembly products anymore after feelen cheated with Empire:TW.

If they did nothing about the ending? How many of you can actually say you would never buy another game from them, even if they released a ME4?

Certainly.  The only real voice that we have is in our wallets.  I swore never to touch another SoE product after the NGE fiasco and I never have, the same will apply to EA.  I would rather support well made indy games produced by developers that care about their product.  Bioware cared when they were independent; now it is just a tarnished name-tag that EA can stick on the front of a box.

If they don't fix this ending business: Never again. I don't trust them to make games I'll like any more.

I won't buy any more bioware games. I'm not pissed about the endings specifically, but I am pissed that they promised something and did the exact opposite of what they promised. If they're going to outright lie like that and assume no one will pick up on it then I can't support them with my money without feeling like a total idiot.

DA2 was the first huge letdown by my favorite game studio Bioware. It was an insult to the greatness of DAO.

With ME3 my hope was temporarily restored and DA2 seemed like just a one time mistake. ME3 was a really good game and it brought back the feeling of a truly involving gaming experience. Then in the ME3 ending it all fell apart as the involvement was brutally taken away by the writers. Seemingly in a hurry to meet a deadline - yeah I get it - it's art but it's also business. Bad business decision I'd say though, but I'm no expert.

Seems to me though, that Bioware could turn this into a win, if they pull it together and get a multiple ending DLC + epilogue. With 99% of the game being so good we all know they could do it easily.

If Bioware actually listens my faith and trust will be restored. If they take this as a learning experience and roll with the positive side - that they have a huge fanbase screaming for more content. (= demand) then I'm sure we'll see many great games from Bioware in the future. And I'll definitely be buying them.

I am more likely to buy a Bioware game after seeing the ME3 ending.

Why?

Because they're going to work damn hard that their game has a good ending.

No, but unless they change the ending of ME3 I will never trust them again.

I won't buy another RPG from them, if it's a mindless action game, maybe.

If they don't do something good about these endings, I will not buy any DLC for it. This includes ME1 and ME2, which I had planned to buy sometime down the future whenever I came around to doing another complete play through.

Future games I will not buy until they are played by others and I read a general concensus of the game being good.

Dragon Age 2 was strike 1
ME3 ending was strike 2
If they don't fix the endings then that is strike 3
I think I've been perfectly reasonable for the last couple of years but my disposable income is limited and giving it to a company that ends up showing its customers contempt is counter to my self interest.

You can be the hardest worker in the world, but if you have no talent and vision, your ending will still suck. Case and Point, Casey & Mac.

Yeah, ME3 was kinda the last straw for me too.

DA2 was (from a PC RPG player's perspective) horribly "consolified" and just the whole "press a button - awsome happens" idea behind that game was ludicrous.
Then they released that lukewarm but overhyped mess called TOR - but hey, at least it had full voice acting...

Now they promised players the moon and the stars in their decisions and consequences of playthroughs of previous chapters for ME.
ME3's endings were supposed to be a grand finale of *the* sci fi game opera of the last decade, but not only fizzled completely instead of giving it a bang, but also left nothing but gag inducing fumes with an utterly confusing smell.

If I am ever going to touch another Bioware product again, it will be with a ten foot pole weeks or months after things have released and player feedback is clear and obvious.
My times of trustingly preordering Bioware titles are over. Their whole track history with DA2 & ME3, of overpromising and underdelivering and their handling of player feedback, of marginalizing consumer interest and CYA tactics makes me trust them about as much as a seedy used cars salesman...
