Hell yes. I got DA2 simply because of the brand BioWare. I was never into DA in the first place. After that disappointment along with the ending in ME3, I no longer believe in them to make something I like. Just like EA Blackbox.

I won't if they keep going on their path concerning the ending. It's not even because of the ending anymore. It's because of how Bioware treats it's fans.

If they fix the ending of ME3/add closure/clarity in a satisfying way, hell, i'll name my first kid Casey Hudson.

If not, I will definitely never buy another BioWare game again, ever, unless it was so amazingly good that fan feedback was overwhelmingly awesome...and even then, i wouldn't pay full retail price, and i'd probably also be cautious, since they might end up screwing that game up in the end.

And to think that I was such a big BioWare fanboy pre-ME3 ending that i bought all of their games, Collector's Editions, I pre-ordered, bought merchandise, apparel, etc. etc...what a shame.

If they did nothing about the ending? How many of you can actually say you would never buy another game from them, even if they released a ME4?

Yes. Bioware games are evolutions of the same formula: a story-driven, choice-based, alignment-heavy RPG. Mass Effect 3 shown they are not what they are advertised for anymore. It's very simple.

Still not sure, It all depends on bioware doing the right thing. Although I doubt that'll happen because of the rEAper$

It depends on how Bioware will react in the future. If they don`t make the ending at least a little bit plausible then I can honestly say, that I won´t buy the next games from them.

I don`t spent money to go to an art gallery when I know I won`t like the art.

It would depend on a great many factors. I'd be skeptical and would wait until the AFTER the release of a new Mass Effect game. Then I'd gauge the reaction from FANS and not game critics.

Yes. If they don't give a damn about their games enough to fix this travesty of an ending... then frankly I don't trust them with making any more games.

Yes.

Fix the ending or I'm done. I even canceled my SWTOR account.

Still hoping for a new ending. Still holding the line.

Bioware's response will determine if I buy from them again.

I got into Bioware because of KOTOR and KOTOR 2, Until Mass Effect came along, I wasn't planning on being a Bioware customer, they kept me as a customer because of Mass Effect, more importantly, had ME 3 ended with some kind of decent ending, one that wouldn't preclude an MMO, I would of been one of the first in line to sign up for a Mass Effect Online MMO if they ever made it.

As it stands, because of this ending, probably no MMO, or more Mass Effect games, and the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. Those three combining factors together have basically made my decision for me, No, I probably won't be buying another Bioware game again, on the grounds that if they make something awesome, I would get heart broken again by a crappy ending.

If they change the ending, yeah I might buy again, if they subsequently change the ending AND come out with an MMO, you betcha. But until those things come to pass, I am gonna have to say No.

If they don´t fix the ending, I can never trust them again not to disappoint me so badly like the ME3 ending did.

So yes, I can honestly say, in this case, my wallet is locked for Bioware products for ever!

It has affected one purchase I was planning to make, at least. I wanted to buy Kingdoms of Amalur. While it is not Bioware, it is EA. I'm on the hunt for something else to play, but I am deliberately avoiding EA titles.

Same as.

The start of the decline in Bioware games coincides exactly with their acquisition by EA.

EA has ruined so many good games.  They should have just stuck with what they knew (sports games) and left out RPG and story games alone.  I have never been a fan of EA but what they did to ME3 will make me really think long and hard about a game from them.  I will probably just wait for any game with EA on it to hit bargen bin before buying it.

Played ME1, was fairly entertained despite the flaws in gameplay. One of the best gaming experiences of all time.

Bought Dragon Age: Origins, after coming from WoW, DAO just felt like a watered down MMO w/o the players to back me up. Gameplay was clunky and riddled with bugs. Story was okay but it was really the community mods that made it more enjoyable.

Played DA: Awakening - Extremely disappointing, same broken and clunky gameplay/mechanics. Again, without the community mods, I wouldn't have even bothered.

Bought ME2 - Enjoyable, especially with the somewhat improved gameplay. Story was not compelling at all as it felt more like one huge side-quest. At least the characters were interesting.

Bought ME3 collectors - Great gameplay improvements. If only the same improvements could be said about the story. In fact, there wasn't even really an ending to the game.

Needless to say, EA and Bioware will never get another cent from me. I'm done supporting mediocrity and little to no standards in their products. Thankfully there are other companies like Blizzard who has never once disappointed with any of their titles.

My trust in the company is basically gone because of this and the false PR Campaign.

I won't preorder and the only way Id buy one is if AFTER it came out and got seriously discounted, I'll read reviews (from other gamers not the gaming websites), and find out they made a good game.  Maybe won't buy until the Ultimate edition comes out where you can buy the game all expansion packs and DLC for the low price of 20 bucks.

If by buy u mean pay full price and new, i can say yes with a straight face. If this is what they do to a gem such as ME, how can i trust them to put any effort into future games. How ever i wont say i will never possibly rent from gamefly/redbox ect or snag a bioware game off the shelves after a few years and the price has dropped to 10 bucks

Can't honestly say that I would never buy another BioWare game, but I think I can pretty safely say that I buy nothing from them in the future until I see what the players are saying about it. There are some games that I will buy simply on the strength of the title and the studio. ME3 was in that category - bought solely on the strength of ME1 and ME2 along with pretty good experiences with some of BioWare's other titles (haven't played Dragon Age, though). To be fair, most of the game was very good. But had I known about the turkey of an ending, I'd have given serious through to passing it up.

Honestly, yes I can.  I am a firm believer in voting with your wallet.  It may be a bit on the idealistic side but I feel that if I boycott a company and refuse to spend my hard earned money with them I have spoken to them in a language they understand.  And on a personal note, I just feel much better for not supporting them.

For example, I'll admit it... I was once a Sony fanboy (yikes!) and yes I was one of those guys who thought they were the greatest company that could do no wrong and I tried to defend them even when it went against common sense.  Then the PS3 debacle happened and I just couldn't bring myself to defending them anymore when I felt they even wronged one of their "hard core" consumers.  I just couldn't believe that I was toting their company line BS for so long when in the end they really could care less about their consumers.  They lied, they deceived, they overcharged, and failed to deliver.  (Sound familiar?)

I'm not going to get into a debate about the PS3, I'm sure it's a nice product now that it's more easily obtainable at far less than $599.99 and I'm sure it's a fantabulous product even without all the bells & whistles they promised.  The point of this is if you're really going to hold the line then do so not just to send a message to a faceless corporation but for yourself knowing that you won't settle and accept crap in a fancy box.

As of today I no longer own any Sony products.  I've tried the PS3, sure it's cool I guess, but I'm not buying one. If BW doesn't fix what is obviously wrong then I will no longer purchase any of their products and I will most likely boycott EA as well.  Now if ME4 comes out or some prequel variation, I might try it at a friends house or at the local gamestop... but they sure as hell aren't getting another penny from me.

Assuming the ending is not addressed, the only way in which I would purchase another BioWare product is if, after another trilogy/series is complete, it is well-received by fans. Until then, I am not willing to invest time and money in something that might end so badly.

Admittedly this isn't saying much, since I haven't played any BioWare games besides Mass Effect.
