Can you honestly say you would never buy another bioware game?

But I will not pre-order. And I will probably wait to buy anything used, or on sale for $10.

I still have hopes for DA.
Also I will never buy any BioWare product that features Felicia Day.

to me bioware were going in a different direction to the games i like .then i played mass effect 3 and reached the ending. i will not only never buy another bioware game i will never purachase another dlc or anything labelled with bioware on principle
ubisoft has lost a pile of purchases from me and now bioware are added to that list.
im pigheaded and hold a grude with companies not to relent even when i want their product.. case in point i want anno 2070 its my sort of game but i will NEVER purchase, or play it ever

I can honestly say that EA is pissing me off and I'm near the tipping point of never buying from them again, same with Activision, and Capcom will never again recieve money from me

I think rather than never buying a bioware game period, I will never buy one of their games until long after it has been released and I have actual reliable sources of information that the game does what it advertises it does. That is of course assuming the company even stays afloat that long after this new relationship with EA.

- original character design is abandoned in favour of stock photographs with freak hands
- multiplayer, DLC, and/or iOS apps are needed to access all singleplayer content without cheating
- the very last two things I see are my old wallpaper and a DLC advert'
- many specific promises were made in many publications and broken
- I have to resort to "it was all just a dream" just to accept the "resolution" to the plot
- all sense of agency is stripped away from me in the end
- the ending may not be on the disc one has paid for and this is not publicly announced in any sort of press release
It really makes me sad. BioWare was the last EA subsidiary I trusted. The one before that was Maxis, and look what they've done to The Sims IP--can't even play the base game without mods to deal with all the bugs! I don't want to stick around if that happens to BioWare too. But I'm going to wait for PAX before completely giving up on them. If what they announce is paid DLC, then I'm returning my collector's edition and not touching anything BioWare-related ever again.

Why the hell will I go "NEVER BUY A BIOWER GAME EVUR CUZ OF ME3" when they might produce an excellent game etc? If it's bad, I don't buy the game. Simple as that. I won't buy a bad game because it's bad and not because it was made by Bioware.
Dumb butthurt fanboys.

Instead of insulting people, you can take the route of buying games used when the market pisses you off.
Just saying.

If Bioware was independent and not owned by a parent company, this ****storm with the ending would have never occurred, since they would finish the game on their own terms, not on their boss' terms.

I'm not going to spend $50+ on a product (or piece of art, whatever) that's ultimately going to irritate and frustrate me. And, at least for now, I can't say Bioware won't sell me such a product because they did sell me that product.
So far, there's no reason to think they won't do it again, and I just don't have $50 to blow gambling on their ability to come up with a good story every time they release a new game, especially when there are plenty of game developers out there who consistently do good work and are (so far) surefire investments.
That being said, if they do a good job fixing the ending I don't think there's any doubt I will continue to buy their games. If they just "clarify" it then I'm not even going to buy that and I'll probably swear off the company. Like most, I'm not interested in having that awful ending clarified. I'm interested in having it go away.

Yep, I could.
I barely can afford games. Especially new. Most of my games are presents and those that I buy are 90% used so if I bought a game that way and no DLC there wouldn't be new money going to the company. Besides Mass Effect 3 the last game I bought new and with my own money was Resident Evil 5. Since then I've bought maybe three games all used and one gift game which was used.
So I think I could avoid buying another game from Bioware
This.

I can. I do honestly think, even before the release of ME 3, that they shouldn't make a Mass Effect 4 in the first place. Mass Effects seems like Shepards universe to me, and her story ends (well, should have ended, not imploded, but thats a different story) in Mass Effect 3. I am really not interested in prequesls or different story arcs. I would prefer them to end the Mass Effect universe as Shepards universe, and instead iof milking it dry and dead till no one wants to hear about it anymore, leave it and develop a new IP.
That being said, i was already disappointed at what Dragon Age 2 turned out to be (hence why i didn't buy any dlc or follow the topic at all anymore). And then i had that massive letdown that is called "Mass Effect 3 ending´"
For a few years, i have been recommending BioWare games to all friends as something they have to buy and try. I honestly can't do that anymore. Its no kind of threat "gimme what i want now", its just a personal fact.
For a company that take its pride in storytelling, they showed a severe and complete lack of understanding of their own story and lack of command on how to tell it. If this is a direction they want to be going, thats their decision, no hard feelings involved. But my money won't follow.
To put it a little more provoking, i am not paying for "lots of speculation". I can have that for free without spending 70 bucks on a game that provides the same level of closure as if i didn't buy it in the first place. For some years, BioWare made the games and stores i loved and wanted to play. At the moment, they make stories and games that make me wish i didn't play them or buy them after i completed them. So lesson learned and thats why i shall be doing next time.

I bought ME3 because ME didn't seem to be going downhill. Now I've seen that it went downhill quickly. I've also seen Bioware's disdain for its customer base. At this point, unless Bioware releases a game which garners huge *user* acclaim, I will certainly not be considering any more purchases from this company.

There's nothing more to buy anymore, nor is there anything to hope for. ME universe? Done and ruined too. DA universe? Not done, but ruined nonetheless.
And if the ME3 ending stays as is, I have no reason to hope that BW will not end future trilogies the same way as they ended this one. As in horribly.

I still have faith in BioWare to turn this around, ME3 was an AMAZING game until the end. They are still doing a lot right, so I will continue to hope.
