If they did nothing about the ending? How many of you can actually say you would never buy another game from them, even if they released a ME4?

ME4 might, and I stress that word heavily, convince me to buy a new BioWare product.  But with everything I've read and heard, they're going to have to create miracles to convince me.

The ending was bad, but that isn't really the problem. The problem is what they promised about the game so close to release - that has me concerned. Because if they could lie through their teeth on so many points that makes me wonder whether they wouldn't just say any random thing that they think will make their games sell regardless of whether they intend to deliver or not.

The sheer quantity of lies we were presented with really ticks me off, especially when they state it isn't going to be an A) B) C) ending, or that gaining the trust of the galaxy isn't a fetching quest.

Sure, I'll play their future games. But don't think I will buy then; I will pirate them -- I only buy products to support the developers.

Them releasing an ME4 is a bad example...cause that would imply that they're continuing the story in some fashion and we would most likely hear about what happened. But even then it'd be BS.

Outside of ME4, since I don't think that's what's going to happen at all, no, I won't buy another BioWare game again, ever, if they don't fix the ending of ME3. And i'm someone that has always pre-ordered pretty much every CE they've come out with....but yeah, lying to the fanbase = I take my money elsewhere.

Especially, if they give us such false hope about fixing the DLC and then just "explain" that crap that we got.

Do that to me and I will never buy another BW game.  ever.

Only thing that would get me back is an old style (graphically updated though) Baldur's Gate.
But they don't have the license, so it is irrelevant.

I know I won't pre-order anymore. But I will look at customer-reviews after each new game comes out and base my decisions on that. I love the worlds of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, and I know Bioware capable of introducing some new, fantastic IPs if they wished. But I'm not listening to professional reviews or doing any more pre-orders for sure.

Dude, where have you been?

Enhanced Edition... coming this summer.  To be followed by BG2 Enhanced Edition, and hopefully a BG3.

I won't abandon Bioware on the offchance they produce some decent titles again. Maker knows I'll be sorely tempted if there's ever a Jade Empire or KotOR sequel.

But I think my preordering days are over.

The Mass Effect universe is probably done for me. Would have been interested to see what they wanted to do, but ME3 has really left a sour taste in my mouth. Curious about DA3, but my trust and faith in Bioware is nearly gone. I will not be pre-ordering DA3. I will most likely wait for several months before considering buying DA3 and then maybe by good word of mouth will purchase a used copy of the regular edition. The pretty glamor charms in the CEs will no longer entice or distract me.

Pre-order, never again. Maybe buy a new game if it's got excellent fan reviews but I won't be going out of my way to be first in line for another BioWare game. They have killed my trust in them with all this ME 3 ending debacle, from the lies, to the way they have made their fans seem like whiney entitled brats instead of consumers who pay their bills and give them their paychecks.

I would maybe buy another game from them. I would never buy ME 4 from them.

I'm not ruling anything out, but I'm definitely in the no-more-preorders camp. What I would love is for BW to buy themselves back off EA and make the games the way they can do so well. Or for everyone at BW to quit and form a new company. Seriously, with the amount of money a decent dev team can raise on Kickstarter, what's stopping them? I'd kick in.

Yes. Thanks to their draconian DRM practices (as a PC Gamer), I avoid all Ubisoft games like the plague after the first Assassin's Creed. I have not picked up an Infinity War/Trayarch game after the IWin Network and lack of dedicated server support with Modern Warfare 2.

No, I can't say that. But, for the first time, I can say that I'll think twice about it.

On the whole, I think ME3 was a wonderful game, the ending and other issues like stock images and face imports not withstanding. But the ending put such a sour taste in my mouth that I will carefully consider my next BioWare purchase, whereas before it's been more or less based purely on brand loyalty.

Probably everyone here will, because come one or two years form now everybody will form a massive disconnect with their current feelings on the endings and have moved on to other games, even ones from bioware.

Besides, with 98% of mass effect 3 being great, after a number of months, say around six or so, the ending drama and hatred will have boiled over, replaced with apathy and than simple acceptance that ME3 ended weakly. Soon discussions will move towards the positives of the game and than a big event will happen, big titles like assassins creed 3, and bioshock infinite, and whatever blockbuster titles come out will distract people, along with whatever dlc that me3 has that people will download, even if they hate themselves for it, just because we as curious animals will need to experience it ourselves.

Come the full year people would have either left bioware behind or moved no to waiting for the next game to roll around. It will come out, it will be mostly good if not great, and it will win people over again or ****** them off enough to forget about mass effect 3 and than the cycle will repeat itself, with bioware bringing in more fans into the series than they will lose.

You may think that but you'd be mistaken. The company LIED. Then called it's fanbase a bunch of whiners who want sunshine and unicorns.  Tried to hide behind critic reviews when the majority of the fanbase was disgusted.
Tried claiming that the only people who are the loudest are just the minority when there was a poll on their very own forum that showed 92% of forum members disproved (roughly 5.5k users)

Just to prove that they knew there'd be this kinda fallout the updated the T.O.S. on the forum.
I'll remember for years to come how much money I've spent on a game (triology actually) that's shaped on your choices only to get jerked around at the end.
