I'd still play Bioware games.

I'd just obtain it by other means than purchase to spite them

Remember- every used/dubiously obtained copy is one less sale

I haven't bought EA games for years. The only reason I bought ME3 was because it was, well, ME3. But after this I'm done with BioWare. Even if this whole ending fiasco turns out to be part of some marketing strategy that involves ending DLC, it's gone on far too long. I don't appreciate being jerked around like this.

No, I can't say that. The entirety of Mass Effect 3 was too good to let a crappy ending spoil it for me.... but that doesn't mean I'll let it slide. I will also be taking BioWare's games with a bit of a grain of salt now.

If they did nothing about the ending? How many of you can actually say you would never buy another game from them, even if they released a ME4?

Yes, I can honestly say it.

The only exception, due to how you worded your question, would be how the ending was either handled, retconned or otherwise changed in ME4. Even then the odds of me buying it would be slim to none.

I'm usually very easy to please. However, after how much I disliked Dragon Age 2, I completely lost interest in the Dragon Age series even though I loved the first one. Didn't buy any DLC for it. With Mass Effect 3, I would consider buying DLC that added on to the ending or provided additional endings (not a big fan of completely forcing BW to retcon their ending, even though I hated it). I really don't think ME:4 is happening unless it's a spin off like Revengeance, then I'd probably avoid it

I bought SW:TOR to play with friends, and though it wasn't a bad game, it was a bit lackluster for me so I cancelled my account 3 days before beating ME3, so I didn't even really have the option to decide whether I wanted to cancel out of protest or not. So considering that I'm through with Dragon Age, Mass Effect is done (except for DLC, which I would only get if it expanded upon the ending), and I'm through with SWTOR, it's really easy for me to say I won't get another Bioware game since they don't really have any products I'm interested in.

I guess the old Hollywood adage that you are only as good as your most recent work is true in video games too. Bioware has such an impressive catalog of games I would hate to see this be there undoing. However that being said I doubt I will pre-order any Bioware games saving my purchase until I hear word of mouth that the game is good.

Honestly... I might still buy the games, but I'd never buy new again. I'd buy used at best so they don't get a penny of my money just on the basis of a major promise being broken that got me into the series. The plot holes are bad and insulting to be sure, but... there's no closure. Literally ZERO closure. I'm not satisfied about how anything ended because of the ending because we don't see the results, good or bad. I loved the game, but even if you love something there's gotta be a point where you say "no". I never thought BioWare would be a company to make me do this and it depresses the hell out of me.

After the DA2 fiasco and now the ME3 Day 1 DLC and ending fiasco Bioware's rep with me is shot. There was a time when BW games were an automatic day 1 purchase for me. From now on I will rent BW games and/or buy way latter out of the $20 bargain bin at Wal-mart.

The way BW/EA is treating us doesn't help either, having their shills like IGN attack and insult us doesn't sit well with me.

I would have to think darn hard before I bought another Bioware game. Besides the ending, this game was the weakest of the three; the most shooter like, with the weakest RP elements (i.e. actual choice and interaction with your crew).

And then take into account the flop of DA2?

This is smelling more and more of the influence of EA. Make it cheap, make it as mass market as you can. Make it have lots of MP DLC that we can sell them in the heat of the moment.

Plus look at what Bioware has on its plate for the future - Command and Conquer: Generals 2?  Wrath of Heroes for Warhammer Online (MMO PvP)?

That may be what makes them money, but it won't be my money.

The company that made ME1, ME2, DAO, and KotOR is disappearing. If not gone already.

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.

DA2, TOR, and ME3 have all been duds compared to Bioware's work in the past. ME3's ending was just the tipping point. Confidence in Bioware has slowly been eroding for a while now.

Bioware is responsible for lots of great memories. I'm never going to pre-order a game from them again, but what a month and if there's no controversies like this one, go for it. A couple of slip up, albeit major ones, isn't enough to write them off completely.

Honestly I am leaning towards not buying any more games from Bioware. Really depends on how they address the ending. This series was a great ride up till the last 15 minutes of the game. After that really kind of killed the series for me and left me in utter disbelief that they ended it like the way they did.

Said it before and I'll say it again. 95 percent of Mass Effect 3, in my opinion, is pure gold. I cried. I actually cried real tears when Thane died and his son said the prayer was for Shepard. I had to stop the game, physically get up and go wash my face. No game has ever made me cry. Ever.

Mass Effect 3 deserves more than the endings we have now. We only protest because we believe everything has been fantastic up until now. This is one way we can be heard.

No... I have enough self-respect to not get backstabbed a 3rd time. The lies were enough to put me off their product.

Why should I keep supporting them when it will only kill my enjoyment in return ?

And if they cannot see the issue with the endings + the reactions from us...well that means we don't see eye-to-eye on gaming anymore....

They won't get another dime from me unless they make an official statement saying that ME3 isn't over and that the last 10 minutes was an intended plot twist....they didn't ruin a game....they ruined a Series....in 10 minutes!

Not to mention, they lied to all of us. Yes, I said the "L"word....why? Because its the truth....making false promises are Lies no matter how you slice it. Don't kid yourself....

That is unless it was an intended plot twist....with intended dlc to conclude Sheps story

It's not like BioWare makes a bunch of different games. We're getting the next Dragon Age game sometime, and then another Mass Effect that's based on a time before Mass Effect 1 or something. I doubt it's in the time of the Protheans because that will go against what they did with Dragon Age 2 where they went all human. So a game based on the first contact war, no thanks, the Illusive Man comic gave me more than enough information I need on that.

I guess there is the possibility of a whole new IP from BioWare in the future. Not sure if I'd be interested in it.

So yes it's fairly easy to say I won't buy another game from BioWare again, even with fixed endings.

fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I rather not look like a fool, nor feel like I got punched in the gut again so no, I will never by another bioware game unless the endings are fixed.

Can't say I'd never purchase another Bioware game, but likely wouldn't pre-order and would not be vocal in supporting the brand. Wore my N7 hoodie for days leading up to release, now if I put it on it's to show solidarity with the retake movement.

I've been a fan of BioWare since Baldurs gate and I own damn near every game they've ever release. The only two games they've released that I don't own is Shattered Steel and that Sonic Game. I used to buy any game if it had BioWare on it. Those days are over. While I may continue to buy games from BioWare I won't be pre-orderering anything, hell I'm so butt-hurt about this I'll probably never buy a new title from BioWare again. BioWare games will be pre-owned only from now on.

With the current situation, I have no plans to ever again invest in the Mass Effect franchise. Period. They can reclaim my support if they choose, but if they choose not to, I'm done.

I have no interest in TOR or the other studios that are really "BioWare" in name only.

I will continue to support the Dragon Age team.

Buy? Maybe if it is good.
I definitely won't pre-order though.
