Just to be clear there was no one more loyal to Bioware than myself after BG, and KOTOR. Mass Effect WAS the reason I got my first 360. It's all I cared about. IT didn't let me down. Tactical single player RPG where you decide the END with your other choices. I have a gaming rig pc now, I didn't have then, so I've finished the series on my 360 because I wanted to keep my character going of course.

Now to see NONE of that mattered after Casey and Mike promised it would in the "end".

So, technically I spent $600 to play the ME series. When a person invests like that in you and you lie to them and backstab you... it's the ultimate betrayal a company can have. I'd have NEVER believed this possible after playing ME 1 and all of the previous great hits.

So they **** up ONE game and you guys just drop them? Jeeze hate to be in a relationship with any of you. Pure perfection all the time please...

As for the OP's question, I will continue to buy bioware games. I was upset at the ending of DA:O, DA2, And now ME3. I will give them a chance with DA3 and if they fail the ending at that, I'll merely wait until their games are released long enough for user reviews. Than from those I'll decide if I'm buying or not. Developing company really makes a sale for me, I've seen big names succeed and big names fail, and the same for smaller names.

Why not? The whole "hide mediocre gameplay behind voice acting" gimmick is getting old.

I loved C&C Generals. And it will pain me to pass on Generals 2, but I will. With their current track record, God only knows how they could ruin that series.

i was planning on buying some figures for me and my girlfriend. And even considering buying the razor me3 laptop bag.

After that ending i dont want a reminder of the heartbreak.

I will not buy anymore bioware products until the ending is fixed.
Sorry but thats just the way capitalism works

If they did nothing about the ending? How many of you can actually say you would never buy another game from them, even if they released a ME4?

I enjoyed ME3 immensely. It was one of the best ME games i've played. I would always consider buying another game from them.

No.

I feel cheated and laughed at.

I will 'borrow' any future games from my friends.

Only a free DLC with a really good ending will quell my fury after three bad games I've bought from them.

BioWare no longer gets my money. DA2 was an acceptable loss and i had my reservations about ME3 after they slaughtered DA2. until this ending is properly fixed with "widely divergent endings" and plenty of closure at no cost to the customer then i will gladly move on to their competitors.

If they do not fix the endings that appeals the themes established by the prior two game and the majority of the third (hope, overcoming impossible odds if you put in enough effort despite sacrifices, etc), Bioware will have lost my loyalty and business permanently. And if they do release a patch or DLC to fix the endings, it better be free or underpriced, or I am not buying. They put a bullet into the head of their own franchise. I'm not paying extra for them to fix it. I'll rest easy simply knowing the endings were fixed by watching them on Youtube.

I second what you said....exactly....never cried when I watch movies ever....but when Garrus gave me his last little goodbye about seeing me on the "other side" and "meeting me at the bar"....had to pause and drink a whole glass of water....I was so choked up....

And then the no closure ending ruins 3 games of pure brilliance.....it could still be brilliant if this was all an intended plot twist but only time will tell....Biowares official statement on this will be the deciding factor on whether they keep me as a fan and loyal consumer

I'll definitely buy BW products. I just won't trust a word from them or mainstream game "journalism."

Had I know the press releases were lies and that the ending would turn a lot of Shepard's story irrelevant with an evil deus ex machina full of plot holes I would not have purchased the game.
I got the fraking Collector's Edition.

So yeah, I am not buying any more Bioware products. Including DLC.
If Bioware wants to make non-interactive stories with static endings I can just watch the cutscenes in YouTube.

Yes. They made us invest in this franchise and pulled the rug out from under us .

ME4, sure. Nothing after Mass Effect, though. Easily. They aren't the only game company around, and they're far from the best.

No, I wouldn't buy anything else from them if they choose not to listen to their fans. It's only fair that they admit that they falsely claimed the game wouldn't have an A, B, and C ending. It did. It could be that they are fooling us all with DLC already in the works. But, if that were the case, why haven't they announced it yet?

I can't say I would never buy another BioWare game. However expect me to think twice or maybe three times before making a purchase. I was usually go hey BioWare made this... I was a "I'll buy it regardless" crowd. That's how much faith I had in BioWare. Just as they took it out of left field to stun us with an ending like that my brand loyalty has gone out the window.

There's nothing special to the endings of any of the Bioware games.  That myth might of become the greatest fanfic of all lol.

Anyways I decide all my purchases on whether or not I think a game will be good.  I won't be pre-ordering any EA games....which is my general policy....that I changed for ME 3...and was rewarded with the gamer tag glitch.

And I know how bad EA CS is....so now I have a game that won't even get to start screen, in which it doesn't matter if you play on different discs or systems....

Anyways....what was I saying.  Oh yes, I'll probably get DA III......it's gonna have what 3 years dev time?  Should be great.

Oh and I thought the ending in this game was fine.  Just as a disclaimer.

As it stands now, I feel lied to. So I will not be buying anything from them until this is fixed. Possibly not even after that.
