My faith, it is shaken, but not stirred.
Can you honestly say you would never buy another bioware game?

No, but I can say that I'd never pre-order one again... IF they do nothing.

If they don't fix ME3's ending. NO. Well...okay I will but most likely used or when it hits the $10-20 bin. Never gonna pay full price or pre-order again.

I'm done pre-ordering their games that's for sure. I'll wait until they drop in price before thinking about buying.

If the endings weren't fixed? Yes. This would be my last Bioware game.
Why? Because lack of choice/being pigeonheld into making decisions I, as a person, didn't agree with killed DA2 for me (forced to serve Meredith, despite being a blood mage. Never got a chance to tell the chantry to ****** off, despite hating them. And every time I tried making a choice that would go against the Templars/Chantry, the game literally forced the outcome to negate my choice) If there's one thing I've always hated in RPGs, is when you're presented with an important, earth shattering choice, but you're only given two options, and they both lead to the same outcome. I've only touched the game once or twice, since putting it down, about two weeks after buying it. Never bought any DLC, and no intention of playing through it again.
Seeing that Mass Effect 3 has the same issue has killed a lot of resolve to buy from Bioware.
The recent statements from Jessica Merizan have restored a lot of that hope and love for the company. However, my future as a Bioware customer still depends on a fix to the endings.

Yep. If it was just the ending maybe but with ME1 characters not importing properly and Javik not being in the default game the Bioware I knew is lost. Like Padme told Anakin: "you're going down a path I can't follow."

I can honestly say I won't be buying anything from BioWare unless I see some really favorable reviews from fans on forums (as opposed to the paid for gamer site reviews). The name BioWare used to stand for quality, it was a name I would pay for sight-unseen. But I don't have the income to buy games regularly and they've used up their goodwill.
As for this particular series, why would I possibly be interested in Mass Effect 4? I was invested in these characters and this universe, and they have both been irreparably destroyed.

I won't. Haven't played the game since beating it over a week ago and I have no less than 4 other saved games I wanted to get through.
I have the Collector's Edition of SWTOR, I bought 3 months game time before Dec. 20 even hit. Heck it probably just expired today. I stopped playing the game towards the end of Janurary. I have the Collector's Edition of ME1 on Xbox360, I have the PC version of ME1, I have the Collector's Edition version of ME2 and 3, I have the Collector's Edition Artbook($97) and Collector's Edition Strat guide($40) as well. Needless to say I was pumped and gave Bioware all the support I could. Then they broke my back over their knee. I can take no further abuse without the intensive surgery needed to repair the damage done.

Buy Bioware games? Sure if they look good. Buy anything with Mass Effect on it? Nah, not with the current ending(s). Part of me kinda wishes Bioware would keep the endings as is and then put out a Mass Effect 4 just to see what would happen with sales, pr and all that crazy stuff.

It wouldn't be to hard for me, I have a huge back list of games and steam always has a sale going on.
Even if that wasn't the case though I will avoid them off of principle if the endings are not fixed.

If they did nothing about the ending, I'd probably only buy their games used or super cheap on Steam.
If they fix the ending and charge me for it, yeah, consider me gone.
I'm not that loyal to the company, just the games. I loved KOTOR and Mass Effect but have no interest in Dragon Age 1 or 2. I have no interest in playing Baldur's gate or neverwinter nights 2 and I'm not really interested in trying to find a way to play Jade Empire.
It would be a very simple thing for me to swear off of Bioware if they decide to charge me to fix their mistake.

Yeah, It's not even about punishing them. I just don't trust them anymore. For all I know they will let me down again in there next game so I rather go play something else.

Without an ME3 ending fix, I won't be buying anything else by Bioware unless if it's secondhand. If it was a secondhand game that had a possibility for a sequel I might not even get it unless if the series was complete. This series ending was a fiasco. Looking at my BG and BG2 game cases on the shelf shaking my head.

wont say totally won't buy, but will wait till I read real user reviews instead of preordering. Also this debacle has opened my eyes to which gaming website I should trust too.

I threw out Games Workshop and the whole wargame hobby because of that one company. This will easily be less.
I just embargo that one company, being Bioware and EA, and continue with the hobby, a more careful consumer.

Here's my issue with this; I don't need to buy games.
I buy Bioware games because they have tried to appeal to a wide demographic, including -- and most importantly for me -- the female audience by offering me protagonists to which I can relate. Are Bioware games the only games I play? Certainly not. They are, however, the only games I buy.
It's not the ending that would dissuade me from purchasing their games in the future, it's the broken promises having been spewed regarding it. I prefer to patronize honest companies, whenever possible. Which is getting harder and harder.

No. It's simply unreasonable to write off a game none of us have ever played, games that haven't even been dreamed up yet, because the last 5 minutes of this game is disappointing.

No, I won't buy more bioware games. Maybe used, but Bioware doesn't get any money from used sales so that's okay.

If there is no resolution to the endings situation, I will never buy another Bioware product again. The reason for this is I will no longer be able to trust them to deliver on their promises. Imagine if they launch another series: what is to stop them from pulling the same crap they pulled with ME3?

In all honesty, yes i would never buy another bioware game. Unless of course they fixed the ending. and if they did a ME4? that's just a slap in the face. (doubt there doing me4 regardless)

If they don't fix the ending, Im done with anything Bioware. It's not that difficult a promise to keep, there is plenty of other games out there to spend my time on. I can think of at least four games in the past six months I passed on getting, because I expected to be spending all my time on Skyrim, and then multiple playthroughs of ME3 when it came out. Wish I had known it was only going to be the one time...

Let's say they decide to do another trilogy after this, I would wait until all three games were out, all three got good reviews and then I would buy them all. I'm not going to sign up for another multi-year adventure unless I know that it will have a decent ending.
Maybe if Bioware said flat-out "This new series will have definite choice, TRULY DIFFERENT and fulfilling endings. We learned from our mistakes on Mass Effect, and will not repeat them." Then I might decide to risk it.

I've no plans on continuing to support Bioware if they continue to make badly written stories and horrendous endings. I enjoyed them for a while, and then DA2 and then ending for ME3 just broke my heart. So yeah...I'm done with these guys unless they make an effort.

I'll still buy them.
But I won't pre-order.
And I'll always, always wait until there are fan reviews out lauding it.

In a word, yes.
I can easily say I would not buy any more bioware games. I was a fan. Loved the series...til they broke it. The fix it I'm back to buying their products. If they don't I won't. Simple to say and easy to do.
