Yeah, get your money back... Then rebuy the game when the next awesome DLC comes out! Everyone's a winner (bar your bank account!)

They check your savefile to see if you refunded the guy in the citadel, if it flags then you get a refund when you request as well. No receipt? No problem.

I was hoping at least someone would find this funny...

Missed it. However I don't remember that assignment <_<;;

Amusing concept though.

One of the little side missions, the refund guy from ME1 and ME2 is asking for a refund again and you can give it to him, the whole 15 credits, with no reciept if you tell the shop keeper it's not worth his time. I mean 5 years for 15 creds? hahaha

Good for the people who want a refund, they deserve it. Keeping my copy though

and what if they agree to change or add an ending DLC ?

If you bought it from Origin, and return it to origin, and then repurchase it, they don't care.

If anything they can pad their own numbers and make themselves feel better.

What can you accomplish besides getting your money back?

Same. I have the CE as well, and I don't think I'll ever get rid of it, regardless of what happens with the ending.

But I don't want a refund. I want a good ending to the franchise, not multi coloured explosions of the same video.

Indeed, but given no other alternatives...a refund would be the only option.

I enjoyed 99% of the game and am still hopeful that the terrible 1% can be repaired. I'll hold onto my copy and the line.

You act like this is a new thing, people have an obligation to give your money back for any myriad of reasons no matter what the product is, if you have your receipt, they -can't- say no to you. This is not a special case scenario, people return stuff all the time in stores this is just another example of that.

Yes they can. Most stores can deny you a refund for any reason unless they mislead you about a product or it was faulty.

this is actually likely...
from all I know Origin customer service is quite generous... they'll give you DLC codes, promotion codes with little question

of course if too many people try this, EA will freak

I just got done talking to an EA rep, and they offered me a full refund due to my dissatisfaction with the game.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Yes, it's for Origin.

Don't be offended if I don't believe you but I don't believe you.

I wonder if they would include the DLC (Prothean) as well.

I'm actually tempted to try to get a refund myself. I liked the game until the ending. Now I just play some multi-player because I practically feel obliged to since I payed $70 for a game that after three days (the three days it took me to finish it) does not interest me anymore, so I play some multi-player to comfort myself into thinking that my $70 wasn't "all" wasted. If I could get a refund I think I'd be much happier that way, since I self-canonized my own ME3 "revision" in my mind anyway I don't see why I should play ME3 again even if there's a pre-ending DLC coming out (Omega or whatever they want to do, would seem pointless to me).

Thanks for the heads up about that OP, I'll contact EA and I'll give it a try, although I won't exactly expect it to work... I'll still try.

... I don't WANT a refund, I want a FIX. If they started a Kickstarter to fund the production of the 'better ending DLC', I would throw money at it.

Well if BW says "we'll stand by our endings. No change whatsoever will be made" then I'll get a refund. But for now I'm going to keep hoping. At least they gave me the choice to get my money back.
