Great, let's ask back the money we gave BioWare, whilst they don't have anything left for the work they did on the 15+ hours of entertainment you received.
That will certainly motivate them to try harder in the future, IF EA has enough funds left to sustain them.

Ahem... **** happens.
I refuse to follow the "You're hurting the company" argument. If you believe in the way the market is supposed to work, a company that puts out a bad product is punished by declining sales.
This is going to result in better games for everyone. Not necessarily by Bioware, but by whoever is willing to learn from Bioware's mistakes. With any luck, that will BE Bioware.
That's exactly my point: Mass Effect never reached the commercial success like, say, the Elder Scrolls or Fallout series has. However, not only did the studio (They were bought along with Pandemic, I believe) cost EA a ****ton of money, but they also sank quite a lot of funds into TOR et al, even whilst their games haven't been fiscal goldmines such as the above mentioned. Which means that as healthy as BW seems at the moment, after DA2, TOR, and ME3's ending, this could soon change.
Which I, personally, would find quite bitter, because ME3 was, apart from the ending (which I myself found too dark and filled with holes), a very, very good game that should deserve our money and respect for their work, even though the ending was unquestionably disappointing.
Thus, instead of knee-jerk reactions, we should give BW the time to rectifiy their mistake, so that both parties can be ultimately happy.
As for bad products...I've read many books, played many games and seen lot of films which had a bad ending, but still were quite good products regardless. Even an ending as terrible as this should not invalidate the competence that is seen in the rest of the product.
