I 'herd' that horses didn't have a 'stable' population; further they were silly creatures, always 'foaling' around. They 'marely' couldn't compete with other species, like dragonlings and 'mare'ly died off. Nothing 'roan' with that.

I recall being told that horses were hunted to extinction by Gryphons.
Not to extinction. Orlias still has a large number of horses, which is why they have one of the most impressive armies. Gryphons supposedly love the taste of horse flesh though, and hunted the horse populations to very low numbers.

All the compaints here are getting stale, we need something else unreasonable to whine about, and I am shocked to see nobody crying about the lack of horses, despite the fact that horses would have no purpose at all in the game Please commence inane discussion about horses below the line. :innocent:
___________
I'm tired of the people in here thinking they're cooler than everyone else by posting such mindless bs about horses and griffons rather than FORCING the developers to give me my free dlc for a game I didn't even buy to begin with and then making the game so stupid hard that I cry and whine about the most ridiculous things in the world such as supid ponies with retarded armor. Your opinion sucks and mine is better, therefore you are a complete and utter jerk with no intelligence whatsoever you ******.

I think THAT's what sloth wanted. Lol, funny thread, btw.
as for what I think about horses? I hate them. I grew up with them and had to clean their crap on a daily basis, for the privilege of sitting on it's back for an hour or 2 a week. In my honest opinion, this was NOT a fair deal. Might have been worth it if it only crapped once a week, though.

Be honest. Do you really want another axis? Do you really use that axis for anything that doesn't look dumb? In heavy armor?phordicus wrote...

Well that strips away the heroic image of a noble knight riding into battle on his valiant stallion! Damn reality! Always ruins it! But i guess they had stable boys so they didnt have to.

Yes. . . instead of moving around your allys to get a better shot at the enemy you simply stomp all over them.
I fully support horses in this game.
