All the compaints here are getting stale, we need something else unreasonable to whine about, and I am shocked to see nobody crying about the lack of horses, despite the fact that horses would have no purpose at all in the game  Please commence inane discussion about horses below the line.  :innocent:

I bet you thought you were being really witty when you came up with this generous helping of spam. Still I can only give you a 3/10 for bad prose.

Theoden King! Alas I bring thee tidings of ill will! Gondor has called for our help, but we're stuck in Ferelden in the wrong effing world! Yeah, it's Trajan's fault! HE decided to muster the Rohirrim there to fight some blight.

Hey, know why Sauron was so mad at Frodo? He was a bad hobbit to break.

Why didn't the Nevarron dragon hunters hunt forum trolls to extinction?

Speaking of gryphons, anyone else hopes that all the mentioning about Grey Wardens & gryphons implies that DA: O 2 will have gryphons? Perhaps a sequel that is set centuries before, when gryphons weren't extinct?

I'm so very used to mysterious lack of horses in these rpgs, that I haven't really paid attention to them. It still brings to wonder why, after so many many years, rpgs STILL do not have horses. I don't mean rideable horses, but at least a few scenographic beasts here and there.

Ok the DLC complaints are getting really tedious, so I am necroing this thread and I want to see more horse discussions.

In fact, I think Bioware should give us all some free bioware points because I expected to see horses and I didn't get any.

Also, they implied there would be horses but then pulled them from the game (I have no citation because I am just making this up as I go along) which makes me think it is all a conspiracy to get our money because EA bought BW and....Microsoft with the xbox did that thing......and...like.um.EVIL Yeah.

tbh, i think having a horse companion would be nice. it coould have talents like "kick" and "charge" and "nom-enemys-hair". And you'd have to give it apples and carrots to gain influence. If your influence was too low, the horse would poop in your camp site, and you could get alistair or morrigan to scoop it up.

Finally, the horse could have equippable teeth and shoes.

Why have a plain horse, when we could have wingged horses. Yes, go flying though the air, with the greatest of ease on our flying horse.

Oh come now... isn't it obvious? You can resurrect the gryphons by lighting a big bonfire and chanting blood magic while running into the blaze with eggs...
