thanks for posting this information OP. i will be returning my copy, provided i am able to, as soon as i get home.

to those who think this is a bad move, claiming that by doing this we are not helping bioware fix the ending... you people are seriously part of the problem. the people who are making the decision to return this product are doing so because they have seen the past, and know it will only repeat itself in light of the current evidence. if you don't understand what i am talking about, try playing dragon age 2 and get back to me.

Precisely. I'm not enjoying that the FINAL PIECE of my product make the absolute majority of it not work anymore.
It's really a tiny fix. It's just the final piece, a tiny thing in a huge universe of right things, but a tiny piece that blocks EVERYTHING ELSE.

If they refuse to make the huge product work again, by fixing a tiny piece, stating that I'm wrong, then I want no more to be part of it. I am patient, but anything beyond tomorrow, and I want to be out of this.

And Anything with Casey Hudson's name on it is FOREVER FORBIDDEN for me.

I have no plans on buying anything from Bioware until they fix the ending.

And if they make us pay for it, I'm never buying from EA again, for thinking they could 1. **** us over and 2. Charge us to get ****ed

So you all played a game for 30 hours or more and are now returning it? Heh, and you people have the audacity to call Bioware cheats.

It was only after 30 hours where it failed to match advertisement claims.

Your false advertisement claims are just your excuses to be a butthurt little ****.

If Gamestop was giving full refunds for the game I'd be returning my game too. But they don't so I'll just use it as trade in for my next game from some other company. To those of you who can get full refunds and are doing so, more power to you.

The biggest issue I have currently is I've seen what appears to be a gradual shift in priorities with BW's games since they were with EA.

I consider DA:O their last game made purely as BW since even though it was released after they were bought by EA, the game had already been in development for over 4 years purely as BW.

Since then, even though they've still released great games, there have been odd "shortcuts" taken in them. ME2 even feels like this a bit: without the DLC added on, the game at times can feel a little confined like shortcuts were taken.

DA2...that's an even worse example of this kind of thing.

And with ME3 we've seen it occur again with the "fetch quests" for the majority of sidequests, lack of sidequests actually having you land on planets (like ME2) and of course with the ending.

This theme of cutting corners is getting worse and worse, and it clearly points to profits over quality to me, a typical EA productivity attitude and I can see it getting worse.

If you guys have this attitude Bioware isn't going to fix anything. Stop destroying your own cause.

So, exactly why do you care?

We have gotten what we want.  A refund.

How exactly does that break your arm or pick YOUR pocket?

If I could I would. However the multiplayer is worth keeping this game for. It is a blast and its a game all my friends agree on so yeah.

Still mad they didn't deliver what they promised us. Even SPORE wasn't this bad -_-;;

yea i think its time that bioware shuts down.

the last 3 games they did where just medicore gameplay wise and with bad or catastrophic story (some storys where just bad as a whole and some had abysmal bad endings).

oh so we should prostate in front of them and beg, politely?

haha. you're just a goon. furthermore, despite what you may claim as "being butthurt", big sellers like amazon.com recognize the validity of the claim and are accepting returns. take that, you goober.

No, you fight this civily like a proper human being, nt like a child, child. Also if you do return it you're no longer a customer, you're opinion is dirt to bioware.

Giving them till Sunday to respond (which will mean Friday probably). I have no will to play single player at all. Might repurchase game in future if they fix the endings. Not giving them any more money in the future...

So now our opinions matter, right?

They either:

a) see that they ****ed up and fix
or
B) don't do anything and lose money.

Win-win for us. Customers can buy game again if Bioware steps up, or no if they don't.

My my my, we have a strange idea of what a customer is, don't we?

A customer is somebody you can potentially make money from.  By returning the game, we've actually increased our value to Bioware.

They want to WIN US BACK.  They are missing out on DLC purchases, merchandising, etc...etc...

Childish behavior would be accepting bullcrap explanations and the "Maybes".  Childish/insane behavior would be doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

A responsible consumer takes his business elsewhere.

If people want to return the game let them. They bought it it's theirs to do with as they please. Stuff like that hurts a company especially when you get refunds from places you bought them. Like Amazon, they game refunds for DA2 at the time and they are the same thing with Mass Effect 3. Hell trade it in and you can get a $50 gift card. That's better than the $30 dollar store credit that gamestop is doing. There's like 100 collector editions for sale right now. I've never seen that for a mass effect game or a drop in price so soon. If bioware does something to fix the bs ending, they can buy game again for a much lower price. I'm sure they don't want to lose money from people not buying planned dlc and extra content.

Broken promises? I've only seen one. And I honestly don't give a damn because Bioware is actually responding to the community. You're not returning the game because promises were broken, you're returning it because you didn't get to bang your LI on their home planet. Just wait for the DLC that gives you the true end, since if you meet the certain requirements and pick red explosions, you'll see that little scene.

Exactly they are responding with cryptic messages, lies, meaningless reassurances, and ultimately MOCKERY.

The mockery they are showing lately is what's making the 20:00h clock tick, and myself returning my game tomorrow. And I sincerely don't expect a change of heart in such time. But I'll hold.

Grow the **** up seriously, there is no denying ME3 was an amazing game minus the last 2% of it. Just be patient! You are just as bad as the people who pirate the game if you return it. I know i'll get bashed being the minority but you're acting like a bunch of spoilt children.

You must be new to the consumer world.

Also read the link at the bottom of my orginal post. The one about lies and marketing.

Thanks :)

I would give my ME3 copy to someone, but I bought it on PC and I don't think that Origin crap allows registered games to be given to someone else. :(

Jesus Christ, the amount of spoiled entitlement in this thread is insane. Bioware developed an amazing game that you enjoyed the first 24 hours, 59 minutes, 50 seconds of. You just didn't like the last 10 seconds and think that entitles you to a full refund? And don't pretend you didn't enjoy the first 24 hours, 59 minutes, and 50 seconds or you wouldn't have played through it to get to the last 10 seconds.

If you go to a movie and love it, but hate the last 10 seconds, do you go to the ticket kiosk and demand your money back? I dare you to do that. See what happens.
