I downloaded the dazip package that is available from BioWare/EA. As I purchased the game well before The Edge was announced, that was my only option.

It doesn't matter if your purchased it before it was announced.  If you registered by the deadline (November 30), they will be adding it to your account today between 10 AM and 12 AM Mountain Time.

If you have the delux version of the game and bought it before nov 30th.. you can manually install just about all the promo DLCs (even if you didn't get them from a certain retailer) and most will work. Although TBH most of the promo items you get aren't really all that good. Especially now that the Winter's Forge mod is available and you can modify or complete create your own weapon or armor and pretty much put any stats you want on them
