I bought the N7 Collector's Edition on PC and all features have been working fine up until now. It tells me I have to 'Redeem/Purchase an Online Pass' when I launch the game, and when I click on the button it tells me the same thing. I've taken numerous steps to fix this issue, any suggestions would be great.

This might happen when the game sees that Origin is online, but the authientication server cannot be reached. Try running the game in offline mode to check if your install is OK (disable your internet connection entirely after shutting down Origin and all of its processes, then start the game from the desktop shortcut). If it works OK, it means that it's an EA server problem, it will go away as soon as they get rebooted next (an hour or two, usually), that happened to me twice in the last week.

If it doesn't work OK, complain to customer support, see what they can tell you.

Thanks for your help. I've contacted support and we've been trying numerous think, but the customer assistant keeps making me make changes on my end when I don't think that's the problem because it was working fine previously. Any help from support on the forums is much appreciated.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having problems.
I am not currently in the office but I can take a look at your account to confirm everything is ok on our side once I get in.

Can you please drop an email to ME3QALaunchSupport@bioware.com with the below details and I'll get back to you when I get in.
  • Your Origin username
  • Your Client_Log.html file from Origin just after the problem occurs. Usually found at C:\\ProgramData\\Origin\\Logs
  • The version of the Game you have (N7 Collectors etc)
  • A screenshot of the error you are experiencing.
  • The version of Windows (XP, 7 etc) you are using
  • The country you are located in
Many Thanks!

go to C:\\ProgramData\\Electronic Arts\\EA Core\\prefs (note you may need to enable hidden folders)

then find masseffect3.ini (NOTE back this up) and delete
find 70619.ini i believe it is and back that up as wellif you have a different one back that up as well then delete it

go to C:\\ProgramData\\Electronic Arts\\EA Services\\License

(back up first) delete 70619.dlf

And then close origin via task manager, open it up again and click repair install and your issue should be fixed :)

Let me know if that helped...

But make sure to back up all the files

If the changes is changing 70619.ini to MassEffect3.ini...anyway, it didn't work at my side.

Also,

Update: while the Origin would re-generate a MassEffect3.ini even if you delete it, the 70619.ini and 70619.dif won't, neither would they be regenerate after you do a repair install.
Could at least someone tell me what gives me that?

Edit: after following a post near the top off this topic it came with the same message but when I tried the multiplayer it suddenly worked and the error message went away. Never had a problem since. Now just to get my from Ashes downloaded...

No that method doesn't work at all.

The last time I tried I've already removed 70619.ini and 70619.dif file from the folder. Those never regenerate; I removed masseffect3.ini. as said, shut down Origin as said, restart Origin and repair install, and still the same damn deal....the system regenerated the masseffect3.ini, and made a 71338.dif.

Everything can be done, did - repair install, patching...unless there's something I've missed, which there should be none.

Will agree, having the same issues. I'm wondering when this is gonna get fixed... Purchasers of the CE really should be getting benefits, not extra problems :/

A whole week and no reply, problem not solved...is that how EA/Bioware repay their customers who buy legit copy instead of pirated copies?

Keep bumping until EA/Bioware give a damn.
