I just had this problem arise today... The fact that the thread is like three weeks old doesn't give me any confidence at all..

What I get is:

I'm getting a message when I fire up ME3 asking me to validate a code?

It reads:

"Unable to authorize the listed DLC.
Please log into the Alliance Network with the account
used to purchase the DLC.
Collector's Edition Online Pass Entitlement
From Ashes:

And in the console on the right (the one that shows galactic readiness and stuff) I get a "Purchase/Redeem Code" message.

I've checked the emails (I purchased via Origin) and I see no such code. In fact it was all working fine until they rolled out this new stuff...

I will raise a ticket too... I hope for the day I wake up and all this DRM has just vanished, overnight, without a trace... Between games and Blu Ray discs I'm sick of DRM and it's consequences...

If you've gotten that far, you're further along than the rest of us! We can't even get logged on to the EA servers. Where the button to connect to the servers is normally, we get a "redeem/purchase online pass" button, despite us all having access to MP in the previous week or so and having a verified online pass tied to our Origin accounts.

Find the difference :
- People whines how they spent all their credits because of stupidity and they get results and live happily ever after (untill next lacks of IQ pops up)
- People explains their technical issues that comes from nowhere and they are ignored and they have to deal with it.
The diffrence is amount of these people I guess...

So... i've got same problem with last update, can't play single player, but can play multiplayer (without new dlc exactly).

Dang! Seems like you've got the opposite problem as most of us others! I can play SP just fine (even have access to my From Ashes dlc), but can't play MP due to my online pass not being recognized in game. My N7 war assets from MP and Cerberus escapees from the Infiltrator app don't show up any more though. Really frustrating as I want to get back into MP and try out the new maps/characters/weapons...

Me too Tuix! I've sent two PMs to Joe Hegarty from page 1 of this thread giving him status of the problem we all seem to be experiencing and asking for an update, even if it's just a, "we're still looking into it" statement and one to Chris Priestly asking him to let the appropriate department know about the issue and forwarding along the message if necessary. Haven't heard back from either of them yet. Granted, it was Easter weekend so it's possible they're still sorting stuff out, but I think we at least deserve some notice that this problem is being looked at.

Got the same problem after Resurgeance pack. Can't play both multiplayer or single player. And I am on pc...

Just chat with EA help, and they told me to delete some file in programm dada/ea servers/bla-bla but this doesnt work :-( hope we can get answer how to make it work

Did this problem ever get resolved for you?  It appears a bunch more of us are coming up with this problem in the last week or so.  If it did, could you please let us know how you were able to get it resolved? (i.e.: if it was something on your end you had to fix or if it was something on Bioware/EA's end that you had to get in touch with them to resolve).

Any update you could give us would help as well since you were the OP of this thread!  Thanks in advance!

- Update the game (done 12 times)
- Clear the cache (done 12 times)
- Switch PC (done 3 times)
- Repair installation (done 12 times)
Everything with no results.

I made sure to lay out in my email that I've done everything that was suggested to people in this thread as well, so hopefully they won't give me those "solutions".

Just tried loading up the game and now I no longer have access to my From Ashes DLC!!! WTF?!?! It's like this problem is just slowly getting worse and worse! FIX THIS BIOWARE!!!!

What aggravates me the most is that I haven't even finished the game once yet(been taking my time with it, hoping for bug fixes etc. ) Now I can't play at all because of this. Can't load my game because it won't authorise my DLC. I could care less about the MP side of the game so this BS is just enraging that it affects my enjoyment of the SP.

I'm certainly not going to waste my time with one of those useless EA Advisors they are a about as useful as an umbrella in a hurricane...

Yeah, I can't play my current single player saves either due to my From Ashes DLC no longer being recognized. So now, if I want to play, I have to start a new game and miss out on content THAT I EXPLICITLY PURCHASED THE N7 EDITION FOR!!! (<-sorry for the all caps, but my patience with Bioware and EA on this issue is almost at an end) I am not getting the product I paid for and frankly, I'm beyond pissed off right now.

I've only spoken with one, and I think I have enough for a lifetime...

He was not able to understand that as I purchased the digital download version I had no installation media, therefore I had to re-download ME3 if I uninstalled it, which I already had done once and didn't make any difference.

Also there was no obvious way to do what he was instructing me to do: re-download the DLC without uninstalling ME3, and if there was a non-obvious way to do so he was failing to explain how to do it.

Besides I did the experiment performed by a fellow poster, I actually asked a friend for his Origin login details, logged in with his account and everything was fine, logged out, logged in with my account and everything was still buggered (I was rather relieved when he confirmed that he was able to log in and play normally on his computer afterwards, for a moment I thought this issue could be... hmmm... contagious).

So, unless one has to delete other local and user specific files (there are various EA/BioWare/Origin folders here, there and everywhere) I don't see how the issue can be generated on my side...

However I'm reluctant to go on a deleting spree because I also have KoAL:R purchased as digital download via Origin and I really don't want to screw the authorization on that one too by removing the wrong file.

All in all very frustrating... It's been three weeks since the OP first raised the issue, by now EA/Bioware should have a clear answer to the problem so when someone else experiences it is a matter of "do x and y, we do z on our side and voila! you're up and running again".

It is not a minor glitch, it is a complete showstopper. If you are affected you can't play.

Another thread on the subject, with a post by a fellow forum dweller by the name of Wynessa containing a possible workaround...

Can't try myself because I'm still re-downloading ME3 (yes, I did indulge the Game Advisor and uninstalled ME3 for the second time today... still don't know why... I suppose because I'm human and human stupidity is limitless...)

oke I officialy have done everything I could starting with reseting the comupter and internet connections and ending with clearing all trace after orgin and ME from my computer (except saves :D) and reinstaling it all. Also tried launch it on diffrent OS. Everything failed now I will wait for some official answers from qualified people. (you know, probably the ones that created this MEss)

I have had this problem since day 1 it wasnt that bad cause if i pulled my ethernet cable out then i could access the singleplayer no prob but now that the multiplayer DLC is out it is a problem : / wish it would be fixed Livechat is no use at all....
