Also, you can try to reinstall From Ashes.

Same directions as before but the file you move out is DLC_HEN_PR instead of DLC_OnlinePassHidCE.

*** Note: From Ashes is over 500mbs, might take a bit ***

To reinstall:Go to C:\\Program Files\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\DLC (assuming you're using C:\\)
Move the DLC_HEN_PR folder to your desktop (keeping it there for a backup, delete it if it works)
Open Origins
Go to the Game Details of Mass Effect 3
Repair Install the DLC called From Ashes (sorry, for got to edit this.)
Once download is complete, try ME3.

FYI: The idea of this is deleting the "patched" installer and forcing to download a new installer from EA servers with the fixes already applied.

Sadly, while I can start a new game, I lose the From Ashes DLC extras, and I haven't gone so far as to check but I imagine all my DLC extra items (N7 weapons and other stuff like Reckoner armor) would be unavailable. I don't want a crippled game, I am half-way through my third playthrough and can't continue... plus I really do actually like multiplayer and was bouncing up and down with excitement at PAX about the prospect of playing as a Geth. 

Guess I'm just gonna have to be bitter, twisted and grumpy for a while longer! :)


Edit: and sorry, I tried your suggestion but it made no difference - the fact that two machines have failed on the same day for me indicates it's not a local issue :(

And this is a good explanation of why I don't want to start a new game either.  When we purchase something to get access to all these little extras, we want those little extras for every game dang it!!!

Does not work. This isn't an issue with EA Servers blocking our region/ISP.

^ That... Other users can log in Origin from our computers and their ME3 is just fine, therefore it looks unlikely that is an ISP issue...

When it happened to me I was hoping for a quick solution, something along the lines of "oh, something glitched on your EA/Origin profile, we've reset it and all is fine now".

Unfortunately reading some of the posts here of people that have been several weeks waiting for a solution doesn't really give me any confidence...

Hmm the problem spreads, still no reply,
Additional info on my case : I dont have from ashes dlc.
I hope it will get fixed before I will be back from work.

Edit: and I am not using me3 datapad app.

Me too, but yesterday morning I had three or four hours where the app was not able to contact EA servers, although I could get the tweets via the app etc.

At that time (between 8AM and 12PM GMT more or less) I couldn't see any "complaints" about EA servers being down by anyone else.

Then in the evening when I went home I had this fault arise.

As I said, very long shot, and probably unrelated, but what we perceive as casualities are often related events on a system that we can't fully comprehend...

Yes I am using the Datpad App. Also have all systems to 100%(Alot of good it's doing me now tho) It works fine tho. Stats show up fine in my profile here on the Forum.

I can't because I'm at work... I'd love to though... This is the first post I see of someone who had the issue fixed...

I'm using datapad app. No problems with the app, but I can't play both multiplayer and singleplayer due to From Ashes saves.This is incredible. A devastating bug.

Tried what was suggested and it did absolutely nothing. I get the impression from the chat you posted the EA support guy you spoke to had no idea what you were talking about or how to fix the issue. I don't think the support from EA could have been any worse, to be honest.

That was my point exactly... I dont think he was even reading my texts... or checking the links... and why the hell bf3 poped up (...you choose the name of the game and your platform at the start of the chat)

I've spoken with 3 EA game advisor. None of them have a clue of what happens to my game. They continue saying: reinstall it, reinstall it.

I've got this from my advisor:
#Uninstall ME3 and Origin using revo uninstaller.
# Delete ME3 and Origin folders.
# Delete your personal ME3 folder below Libraries\\Documents\\Bioware but make sure that you copy the files to another location (especially your savegames).
# Run regedit and serach for every registry entry which includes the component "mass", and delete these entries if there are related to ME3.
# Reboot the PC.
# Reinstall Origin, the update procedure should run automatically.
# And reinstall ME3 - as for Origin, let the automatic update procedure pass.
# Now you can start ME3 without DLC authorization error.
# At last, copy back your save games to the known folder.
Now i'm trying it.

I'm using the Datapad app as well.  It logs into Origin just fine and my galactic readiness on it is synched up with my BSN profile.

Glad to hear you got yours to work VitarSM! Although you were always able to play MP right? Your problem was just not being able to play SP? (please correct me if I'm wrong!)

FlyVPN is it enought for it if you launch it only for trial ? What after the trial ends?
