He deserved it. if he doesnt wanna help me because of that he doesnt deserve to be an admiral take a look at the actions he did. he jeopardized the whole fleet took them hostage help me or you all die stance. he deserved it. id rather throw him out the airlock into rannoch and have him die me2 shep style. and while he burns he can contemplate why he was wrong. i value my shepards life because billions maybe a trilion lives depend on him, not comprimising thaat for some bucket head with a itchy trigger finger

To borrow Cthulhu42's line from earlier:
Also necro. But hey, brings back the good old days of Auld Wulf and Remydat, so not a total loss. No, because my Shepard's not an egocentric thug who attacks allies because they didn't prioritize his survival over the mission.

Despite the game trying to make Shepard into a messiah figure, no one is indispensable.
We are all expendable, Shepard and the boarding party when the dreadnought needs to be taken out and in the end Gerrell and his fleet when the Geth V.I. made a better offer for the war effort.

A Geth Dreadnought with a massive mass driver that was cutting through Quarian Ships like a hot knife through butter is now disabled, what are you going to do? Are you going to wait until the Dreadnought restores its kinetic barriers and resumes firing? Or are you going to deliver a decisive blow against the Geth Navy?
Still it was a pretty incredible warship, shame we couldn't have captured it intact.
