No, though my finger twitched over that trigger like crazy. I didn't know exactly what would happen, but I knew my Shep would put aside her personal feelings for diplomacy and the greater good, and that little renegade icon just seemed like trouble (more than the verbal "telling off" kind). It was so damn tempting, though. After I finished the game I saw a clip of what happens (the gut punch) and damn, brutal. Something my Shep wouldn't have done though she so badly wanted to.

It seems the punch is important for peace, my FemShep playthrough didn't punch (everything else was the same) and couldn't get peace where my MaleShep did.

No, I did not. I wanted to, but a professional keeps him/herself restrained.

I typically follow a general policy to punch everyone....but seriously though, no I did not punch him. Would've liked to have punched the traitorous Hanarr though. ;)

and space kid...would have liked to punch him as well....many times. Maybe kick him too for good measure :)

My Mostly paragon few renegade male shep told him off but didn't hit but I twitched about that and the dalatrass. I rescued the rachni queen and took great pleasure in shoving my omni blade into Kai Leng great GREAT pleasure. My next playthrough you better believe I'm gonna be more....relaxed with the punching.

I was actually pretty darn pissed at him for shooting the dreadnought while I was inside, so I pressed that renegade trigger as soon as I saw it despite being 90% paragon. Of course, I wasn't expecting Shepard to yell at him and order him to get off his ship. I was satisfied with the punch, but then Shep took it too far.

Me: "I didn't want to kick him off my ship. The punch was enough ;_;"

I can't punch the guy for being a reckless ****. The writers wrote him that way.

The only Quarians i like are Tali, Kel'Reggar and the admiral that wants peace with the Quarians. All the others require a roundhouse kick to the bucket because of how stupid they are.

So yeah, i SHEPARD PAWNCH'd him to the gut.

YESSS!!! I whacked him good and proper, nearly got me killed the douchebag, It was so good to see him double up with a girly gasp and slink off

After I did that, I was wondering why there was no option to do the same to Loghain. I love how Gerrel shares the same VA as Loghain, along with Xen and Morrigan. It's like a mini DA;O reunion

You bet I did. My 95% paragon Shepard was furious. Udina, Quarian Admiral, Kai Leng - I have no regrets pulling the Renegade trigger.

I punched him and I still was able to get peace with the Geth.

Punched him without a second thought. The man was reckless and willing to sacrifice anyone for a chance at destroying the Geth.

Punched him. Sadly, he was one of the only admirals I liked in ME2 (Other being Koris).

Sure did! Not only did he try to blow up the Geth Dreadnought while my Shep and Team Dextro were still on board, the ship also could've been a very valuable war asset in our fight against the Reapers.

Yep, what can I say? When someone starts shooting a spaceship that I'm aboard, I tend to take a personal offense.

The opposite was true in ME2. Zal Koris was a jerkass who wanted to exile Tali for her support (uintentional btw) in her father's insane experiments. Han Gerrel on the other hand was friendly and quite supportive of Tali. You can see who my Shepard preferred talking to.

Admittedly I give props to Bioware for this sublime bit of storytelling. How war brings out best (Koris) and worst (Gerrel) in people.

While Koris was a dick and Gerrel was fairly amiable in ME2, they already had their political positions eked out. It was nice to see, in that game, that Good (Koris) was not nice.

By comparison, in ME3, there are sadly few affably evil people or good people who happen to be dicks. Bit of a shame, there.

Nothing is gained by not punching him, many awesome points gained by doing so.

Wish I could have super-renegade-dragged-him-to-the-airlock-by-his-toes, though.
