Just a list of the reasons I don't like DA2 as a sequel of DA:O, humourous style. Probably people who didn't play both games won't get it...
- We wouldn't have had Shepard, but a lost cousin (depending on your Shepard's origin) of him/her called Farmer. I'm OK with that, but it is an important setting point to start.
- Action would have taken place only in a planet not explored in the original games, and most of the scenarios would have been reused.
- Asaris in the previous games were just blue average women with tentacles! Let's redesign them to give them a more alien look! Use an awesome concept, even if that screws the previous lore, and make a stunning new asari companion, but the average ones will look like goats and Liara's cameo will make everybody puke.
- And since Bioware now has improved the graphic design, Turians will have their original, much cooler horned design, that they couldn't use in the previous games. Of course that screws up the lore but don't they look much more cooler and badass now? Come on, it was their original idea, and they'll come with a perfectly logical explanation about why Garrus didn't have horns.
- No matter if Mordin or Legion were killed in the Suicide mision, let's merge them in a companion you can't skip in the story, make him a LI and change completely their personality to a winny tragic lover Twilight style.
- Due to an import bug, BOTH Kaidan and Ashley will have a cameo, and even if your Shepard romanced them, they will not aknowledge it and even have sex with your Farmer. Even if fans will be able to release a mod to fix this bug in PCs, Bioware will refuse to fix it officially and of course not in PS3 or XBox because "it is not important enough"
- No matter your decissions in DA:O, Awakening or DA2, you'll only have two choices for the ending: Join Cerberus, or join the Reapers. Whatever you choose, you'll have to fight BOTH the Illusory Man and The Harbinger. But your Farmer will survive, even if he/she will lead the galaxy to an even more destructive war.
