You are messed up. seems to me that your proportions are all wrong as well. Nice try, but try again.

Saying the proportions are off would indeed work if she was a human. Which she's not.

Look at the hips and the upper legs, not to mention the head itself.  The proportions do not match up.

Have to disagree with you in this case. Sorry OP, is this is your own artwork (the design is better than some of the concept art), but not appealing, not even a little. The mandible thing is weird enough on turians. Still, I'm not a Tali fan, so maybe true Tali-mancers would like this.

http://unrealitymag....t-at-talizorah/

Here's one from a site of random lists I visit. Again, I wasn't really impressed. Great artwork, but too asari (so yeah, OP, no Tali really seems like the Tali to me)

I suppose you're the expert.....

After reading alot of you peoples' comments, Im not amazed Bioware wound up using a stock photo. In all honesty I don't think ppl would be interested in a love interest that didn't have humanlike face.  Even Liara being asari kept her alien differences away from crucial parts.  I now understand why Bioware didn't go all out in making Tali look truly alien to you people..... You all couldn't take anything less than human looking in terms of a love interest..... None of you have any imagination.....

Just give her puckered lips, large doe eyes, giant knockers and there ya go, Im not amazed anymore why Bioware took a stock photo and did simple photoshop work to it instead of creating some unique alien character, you ppl complain about anything different

Given all the similarities with Turians (dextroseDNA, digitigrade legs, 3 fingers), I think they should be more like Turians in appearance. They have long necks, too, if you try to match the physiology with the suits. Slanted eyes and long noses would be a necessity as well given what players can see through the mask from various angles. The "placeholder" suggestion doesn't excuse the appearance. The suggestion regarding a warping effect from the mask doesn't work when considering the viewing angles.

I actually like the one we got from BioWare. But, they introduce it really bad. They should have done it in the Rannoch scene.

I agree. Entirely. There should've been an ingame model and I'd have loved it. They did a good job photoshopping it, despite what everyone wants to say.

I like ACTUAL tali (The one they gave us) better than pretty much every alternative levied. I have seen some very nice works on minor alterations, (Lightening her skin tone, adding perhaps an additional facial marking) But the core of what Bioware did pleases me. There's nothing wrong with the current Quarian face, other than the fact it has no ingame model.

Long story short, from what we can piece together from what we see through the mask, combined with what was said about their looks from other characters like Grunt or Javek, and then add on top of that the three fingers, the legs and feet that we see, the basic truth is simple.

A human face does simply NOT fit into the puzzle very well with all the other pieces. Sadly this does.

http://unrealitymag....t-at-talizorah/

Alien in the right ways, but still being human enough to be able to romance.

It has the long nose, slanted eyes that look like they will glow, and logically I can see that behind the mask easier than Bioware's stock photo.

I would LOVE for Bioware to buy that picture and use it as a basis for the Quarians and an in game model for Tali in a DLC.

In addition take a look at the hand in the stock photo.  This is NOT a quarian hand.  Quarians have three fingers, true, but those fingers are farther apart.  They are not all clustered at one half the hand and then having the hand taper off.  That is simply NOT what the in game model of a quarian hand is like, no where near.

Finally, where was this photo taken?
As Tali said "A suit rupture is one of the worst things that can happen.  If a suit ruptures, seals clamp down and we start swimming in antiobotics." (Not an exact quote)
The only place she can safely take off that suit is in a clean room on board the floatilla.
Yet now she takes off this suit on some place that has vegetation and blue skies in the background long enough to have her photo taken, with no regard for her health?

The stock photo is just looking more ridiculous all the time.  Buy that picture from the artist Bioware, at least it has credibility.

Look, I do not think at all the final result should have been some, white human model, but I'm not the biggest fan of this one completely either.

Something had to be decided on an average and sadly that's what it ended up as, nothing impressive a supermodel with some lines drawn on her, ugh.

I personally say, the hell with it at this point it.

Should have been somewhere in between the two extremes(what we got and the artist's conception here) to balance it out and I know keeping her pretty along with alien certainly could have worked just fine.

Like I said.... don't think the fans would ever be happy, especially after this point while they believe if they protest hard enough they can force Bioware to do whatever they want.

They made her look as human as possible, and didn't put so much effort into a photoshopped image of it because they thought to themselves.... "What's the point?"  Revealing Tali at all in any form will ****** ppl off, so might as well play it safe

I really like it, best concept of a Quarian I've seen. The feet especially are fantastically weird, and it explains why their helmets have snouts. Judging by most of the posts talimancers would go even more bonkers if they had done something like this though. I do find it humourous that the one consistent thing in everyone's designs is that they're all purple lol.

Amusingly, this is probably the best they'll get of it.

Most complain about the implementation, opposed to the actual appearance itself, lol.

Actually, I think they are all different colored, Their visor color is actually a reflection of their skin color or something.  like there are different asari races from purple, blue, to whitish blue.  Kal' Raegar I think would be red, etc

The Quarians have been explicitly described in game as having a face and hair very similar to humans, but with different ears. Their bodies are also described as being very similar to humans, besides the bowed legs and fingers.

I teased my fiancee. Turns out his canon-Shepard's girlfriend was a Star Trek alien!

Distressingly, he was cool with it. Foiled again.

I really like this one a lot. Maybe I will just pretend this is what Tali really looks like.  I don't mind the image we got, I just with they would have taken more time with it.

Ugh! Why do people like the "starfish" face so much? It looks like you could peel it right off. :X

To sound like a broken record: I was fine with the face they chose. I just wish they'd actually put some effort into it.

Body wise the skeletal makeup of it is probably how she looks like. Face wise and the whole plates no she doesn't look like that and all evidence points to her not looking like that. If she did have plates under her suit 1) Mordin would've warned us and 2) her suit would be raised in curtain locations to accommodate any plates she did have. I like what BW did and the fact she's more humanoid then the Asari it not only makes sense but it's about time human's weren't the only ones like they were I was annoyed with all the aliens really being so different from us I was beginning to think BW was trying to subliminally say that humanity was the fluke of the universe.

ith this new ending DLC, I'm hoping that we'll at least get to see the current Tali face in-game, not just on a pic.

I prefer this look, personally.  Imagine a feminine version:

I like this one. I wonder if anyone can modify it to look more alien?
