What Tali Should of Looked Like Instead

Personally I found the turians to be a nice change of pace, and it would of been good if they went with something similarly less human for the Quarians as well, considering their similar acid type and leg structure.

I was REALLY hoping someone was going to post this; to me its was the greatest Quarian concept I had seen because;MadCat221 wrote...
Meh... the head tentacle things are too asari-like.
I prefer this look, personally. Imagine a feminine version:
dA link to page
- It had HAIR, something no species aside from humans have. (Batarians don't count, that's fur.)
- It was human looking. (We can plainly see Tali looks extremely human behind the mask, not to mention Drew's account in Ascension.)
- Its "Alien," features aren't extreme or distracting.
- And its skin color is almost a metallic bronze; something I've never seen before.

I do too. I don't really care for Tali as a LI but Quarians should all look like this. Javik said even primitive quarians were considered attractive by his people.

People seem to forget the Wiki/Codexes, which state that Quarians look similar to humans.
Quarians are generally shorter and of slighter build than humans.
Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids
and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which
include a thumb, an index finger, and a long fingers, similar to the
middle fingers for humans, as well as three toes on each foot. Quarian
facial structure and hair actually makes them the most similar to humans
in physical appearance. Their lower legs are bowed backwards
significantly, compared to asari or humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and
sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Their ears or ear analogues
differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references
made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".
I find it a bit funny no one ever commented on your post. If that's what the Codex says, why are people speculating anything else. I appreciate the OP's attempts, it's good art to me, but it doesn't seem likely. (To be fair, I don't read the Codex because TL;DR.)
The other thing I wanted to mention is that the Super hot version of Tali, with the blonde ponytail and the weird horny bits that cover it remind me of Draenei. Not sure if anyone else saw that.
Personally, I feel that if BioWare was going to have the disconnect between Shepard seeing Tali's face and the players seeing her face, they should've left it in tact. Some questions don't get answered. Sometimes speculation, imagination, is better than the canon that is forced down our throat that is nothing like we've been told would be.
I'm just offended that they took some stock photo and shooped it and said "THURR YA GO. HAYVE A TALI." No. Nothing about ME3 felt like they put effort into it.
I should stop myself before I get off on a rant. Just wanted to add my two cents.

Im offended by that too, but I think they did that to play things safe.... you seen, that anything too overly alien looking for Tali, no one will accept it. People are already complaining she has "creepy three fingered hands" luckily asari keep their alien features away from sex appealing places. They don't have inverted legs, three fingers, chicken toes. they are blue with head tendrils which only frame their face. Granted ppl are pissed about the stock photo, but they did that because people would just brush it off, where as any concept done of Tali being too alien may not sit well as canon to fans, then need lips

I preffer quarians with hair, there are enough scaly races already.
There's a largely diverse species list out there, and though I agree they need another mammal species, Quarians have chicken legs and 3 digit feet and hands. If there was any species I would imagine to be mammals, it isn't Quarians, I'd almost envision them having feathers, or looking like Jurassic Park raptors before envisioning a humanlike species.

Actually, her feet look more like hooves, or a cat's leg to me than a chicken foot. And as for 3 fingers, I immediately thought of the 3 toed sloth.MalevoIence wrote...

Maybe it's just because she sounds so much like Juhani, but I always pictured her as vaguely feline.

Uhh....nice attempt, but that is not possible.
Javik mentions quarians were the most beautiful among all alien species, back when they didn't wear helmets.
So uh, beautiful and that ghoul-ish face doesn't really go together.
Yeah but we don't now what Javik or the protheans think is beautiful. Their taste might be different from human taste....
But then again, on the photo Tali doesn't look much different than a human. So if quarians are considered as beautiful, humans and Asari should considered beautiful too.
Edited:
I think it was good to show the fans how she looks. But the scene on Rannoch would have been great for this so that everyone could see her face, not only those who romanced her. The problem is that everyone here has a different view on what is beautiful and what they want to see. So Bioware would have never find a face that would be beautiful or satisfying for all fans.

The only worthy rendition of tali,
Tell me, is there any significant evolutionary reason for the starfish head? Anyone else get the feeling when looking at this pic they just threw that on her face to make her look alien. with the others, alien features flow throughout the features of each race. Asari come from the sea so they're blue with head tendrils, Salarians are obviously from lizards, and Turians look Reptilian. This one looks like a mammal, reptile, amphibian... choose a species and stick with it
